RNC asks to review ‘The Reagans’

The Republican National Committee Friday asked CBS to allow a team of historians and friends of former President Ronald Reagan and his wife to review a miniseries about the couple before it airs. Republicans have expressed concern that the miniseries, titled ‘The Reagans,’ may inaccurately portray the couple.

I watched a guy on FoxNews tonight talking about this on O’Reilly. Said he had no problems if CBS wanted to make a movie and call it a fictional account – - but they’re trying to pass it off as historical fact. This guy spoke to Nancy Reagan, George Schultz, George Bush (Sr.) . . and others who were in the ‘inner circle’ during Reagan’s administration. None of them had been contacted by the makers of this movie – - and yet, CBS contends that it is historical based on personal interviews with those involved at the time. However, they have offered up no names.

This is the least the RNC can do for President Reagan and his family – - I’m so tired of revisionist history at the hands of liberals.
