Political activist Sheen endorsed Gonzalez, citing his record of fighting for working families and responsible government as a supervisor.
“Sheen has put himself on the frontline for some of the most significant humanitarian causes of the last 20 years, and his character on “The West Wing” is synonymous with political integrity,” Gonzalez said, acknowledging the endorsement. “I’m thrilled to have the endorsement.”
Why do they state time and again that Martin Sheen plays a character who is President of the United States? Then Gonzalez states that Sheen’s character is synonymous with political integrity.
OK – - one more time for the folks who just don’t get this yet – - He is an actor, he isn’t really the President.
