When asked why he chose to speak out, Yorke said, “To make Blair squirm over his decision to take us into an illegitimate war (in Iraq) and follow this religious lunatic (Bush) toward a dangerous future for the whole planet… both of these men are liars. We have the right to call them such, they are putting our children’s future in jeopardy. They are not controlling the terrorist threat, they are escalating it..”
Members of other British bands, such as Blur and Travis, have also spoken out.
Illegitimate war? Religious lunatic?
Do these people watch any news? Do they read any newspapers?
And again they use terms like “illegitimate”, “lunatic”, “occupation”.
Get the facts straight and then state your stance with opened eyes – - until then… well……….
