You know, that Letterman can surprise me. For awhile there, I was finding him a bit too liberal and cynical for my liking, particularly where the Rush Limbaugh jokes were concerned, but this does make me pause a bit. He obviously does care about the troops, regardless of his political convictions, and seeing as Jay has made his own share of USO-rounds, I guess I can forgive these guys the Rush-jabs.
What about Leno’s doing an “exam” of Saddam? That was funny, if anyone caught it.
