Kerry Pulls It Off

The Democrats of New Hampshire have spoken . . .

75% Precincts Reporting. . .

Sen. John F. Kerry 24,339 39%
Howard Dean 15,151 26%
Gen. Wesley K. Clark 7,383 13%
Sen. John Edwards 7,896 12%
Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman 5,844 9%
Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich 930 1%

And we’re off to the national race!

Dean is currently on FoxNews with Brit Hume whining about how Terry McCauliffe didn’t step in when Dean was being picked on by his Democratic opponents. No sign of the “I Have a Scream” speech, though. He seems to be keeping it together – - which he should’ve done after Iowa.

Lieberman, who put all his eggs in the New Hampshire basket, feels he’s in a three-way split decision for third place. That’s his interpretation of his fifth place standing.

Edwards and Clark are staying strong. It looks like all five of the candidates are in it for the long-haul, as long as they can all raise enough money to stay in the race.

I’m still rooting for Dean — I want to see him up against Bush.
