Kerry Says We’re Misled

Kerry On Terrorism

John Kerry said during last night’s Democratic presidential debate that the threat of terrorism has been exaggerated.

“I think there has been an exaggeration,” Mr. Kerry said. “They are misleading all Americans in a profound way.”

“This administration’s arrogant and ideological policy is taking America down a more dangerous path,” Mr. Kerry said. “I will make America safer than they are.”

Exaggerated?

Where was this guy on 9/11?

Where is this guy every day when there is a terrorist attack somewhere in the world?

He then stated he will make America a safer place than they (current administration) are – - how does John think he will do that?

Good thing we’ll never have to know how John thinks he would solve terrorism. George W. Bush being re-elected President – that is the only way I believe we in America will be safe.

  1. Well, yes, but what of the ACLU’s stretching of that nice little phrase “separation of church and state”? I mean, let’s face it — if groups such as the ACLU had their way, there would be no church in any state!

I’m just hoping that right wing extremes would at least reduce the chances of that happening a little.

You raise a good point, though. Thanks to John Ashcroft, I do find myself struggling to find a decent church that isn’t politically correct, which is enormously frustrating.

Basically I’m just trying to find the lesser of two evils here…

  2. Them damned Liberals at the ACLU…

…ain’t so bad after all, since they are on my side in my drug-offense defense.

  3. madbarr – if what you say is right then why are there discrepancies from one translation of the Bible to another as well as historical proven inaccuracies? Furthermore, most of the sources we looked at studying things historically didn’t care about right, left, conservative, liberal. They cared on whether or not there was documentation that either supported or disproved what was there.

  4. Well, I’m not madbarr, but I’m sure you don’t mind if I take a stab at it, Astro. ;)

For the same reason that historical documentation, particularly where JFK is concerned, seems to be altered on a regular basis. Because time allows for a certain amount of corruption and confusion.

  5. In other words, too many cooks spoil the broth.

  6. Thanks AG, Hello Rush,
astro, as far as the many translations you speak of, it all depends on what language you speak and how you speak it… but in all actuality all those translation say the same thing (I’ve read and compared many)… except the Jehovah’s witness bible (which reduces Jesus to a mere prophet instead of the son of God) The one bible that I enjoy reading is the NIV because about 300 biblical scholars translated from the original greek, hebrew, and aramaic text. also, there is NOT ONE historical inaccuracy in the bible… every time they have tried to prove them wrong they have ended up proving them right… great debate though…
Hey Rush, I’m a big dittohead, love your show… good luck with the court case and damn that pesky ACLU…

  7. I guess they were right. If you tell people the same thing enough tims they’ll believe anything. FWIW I am a Christian who belives that Jesus was the Son of God, but any time you leave anything up to humans it gets messed up to some point.

  8. Your right about humans muddying the waters when it comes to the truth because we fall short of the glory of God. I’m glad your a christian and thanks for the very interesing debate… I’m going to leave it here and move on to the other discussions, see you there… God bless

  9. For those wondering about inaccuracies in Biblical translations, you can find a nice website about the KJV at
