Apologies for a short interruption in site surfing here. This morning I upgraded from the Berkely Database sytem and integrated this site using MYSQL Database. It was about a 15 minute conversion – during which time, the site was ultimately screwed up.
Doesn’t mean much for many – basically, in a nutshell – it should make the site and archives load quicker and makes for a more secure environment for administering this site.
We’ll now return you to your regular programming.
Thank-you! 2 thumbs up..
Yes indeed!
Lisa, I love the redesign! And it looks like the link to the archives posting is a lot better as well!
Es Lisa muy bueno. Tengo gusto de el para mejorar esta manera.
Thank you…..thank you, very much.
Elvis has left the building..haha
At least I’m glad that you’ve taken my suggestion to heart (as per your “GooblyGook” note on Sunday), and tried to fix the horrible comments section on this site. I’m stunned that you never noticed this until now. Why it needed mention from me I’ll never know as the major glitches should have been obvious from the start to anyone, even a monkey. But I understand how some webmasters are a little slow on the uptake. All in all, I’m happy to have nudged the moderators – Lisa, Chris, and Reilly – in a positive direction, at least in the nerdy realm of programming. However, in other (more important) areas, I’m sorry to say that they’re hopelessly lost. Case in point: William Morris. Lisa and her tiny Stalin gang have failed to learn anything from last year’s fiasco when the legal goons at the William Morris Agency were able to shut them down, simply because of opinions that were deemed unpopular. Scary stuff indeed, and yes, as noted, I supported them then. Isn’t it ironic that they would use the same tiny Stalin tactics on me that the legal goons used on them? You’ve got to wonder why the biggest lessons in life fly over some heads while they stick to others.
