Howard Stern Blasts President Bush
Besieged shock jock Howard Stern taunted his government critics yesterday by skipping his usual congressional and FCC attacks and tearing right into the top guy – President Bush.
Stern also said he fears his “suspension” last Wednesday by radio behemoth Clear Channel has turned into a firing.
“I might be taken off all the stations very soon, and my last words to you are ‘G.W.B.,’ ” Stern told listeners yesterday.
“Get him out of office. I’m tellin’ you, man, he’s in dangerous territory [with] a religious agenda and you gotta vote him out – anyone but Bush,” Stern railed.
Anyone but Bush?
ANYONE BUT BUSH?
Like who? Raph Nader? John Kerry? Al Sharpton?
Anyone but Bush? I think not!
What horrific images that conjures.
How is it the fault of the President of the United States that Howard Stern has been taken off the CC channels?
Well, I’m not sure what to make of Howard Stern, in all honesty. But I’m not sure what to make of the FCC’s sudden launch into action after the Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake incident either, after speculation that perhaps they should allow the s-word and the f-word on television on a more regular basis.
I’ve heard that Howard Stern has had conservative leanings, so I find this a bit disturbing on some level. Basically, I don’t know what is going on or what to think of any of this. I suppose to a degree I am happy about the FCC getting its act together, but the skeptical side of me keeps asking the million-dollar question, “Why now?”
“not sure what to make of HOWARD STERN”??
Well I am!
He’s a misanthropic hedonist who brings his fetishes to the airwaves for public consumption. And with his sidekick “Robin” cheering him on like Kevin Eubanks and Jay Leno it’s enough to trigger the gag reflex.
I’d like to take him out in the back field and shoot him. Nevermind he’ll do himself in soon enough.
The last thing the Democratic Party needs is the alignment of the likes of that arrogant fucker…. God how I loathe that individual.
However I AM sure what to “make” of Justin Timberlake…
**evil grin**
Choses — you don’t like Howard Stern either? I have to admit that I’m a little surprised!
I personally think the guy has a big, dirty mouth, and I don’t really care for his attitudes towards women, so he’s not my favorite entertainer.
The one thing that I did hear about him that I liked was his conservative leanings, which again surprised me. But I still don’t understand why the FCC just now decided after over a decade to clamp down on him in this manner. It seems just a tad convenient for my liking…
Maybe Howard is just one more guy who will do and say whatever he thinks will get the ratings. I don’t know. I never bother to listen to his show myself, in all honesty…
Your last comment AG I think hits his “nail” on the head.
I’ve had the misfortune to land on his late night show on occasion only and invariably to find him demeaning women in some form or another.
God knows I love the Anglo-Saxon based swears in our language. But that sorry excuse for a human being gives new meaning to the word “vile”. He’s foul-mouthed just for the sake of shock value and he has no conscience from what I can tell (morally or otherwise).
The only thing, I’d wager, he’s “conservative” about are his rights- not those of his audience.
