He Can Make U.S. Safer Place to Live
John Kerry called terrorism a “mortal challenge” to the United States on Friday and said he could make Americans safer and more secure than President Bush.
President Bush has done an outstanding job protecting our nation and citizens.
Kerry offered a battle plan for the war on terror, including the use of military force when necessary, a “name and shame” campaign against countries that finance terror.
“Name & Shame”?
Give me a break!
We already know which countries finance terrorism – - let alone does he really think that naming these countries in some sort of name and shame game will cause said nations to cease their financial support? That is laughable.
“We cannot win the war on terror through military power alone,” Kerry told the UCLA International Institute. “As president, if necessary, I will use military force to protect our security, our people and our vital interests.”
It’s already being done.
Kerry voted for the war in Iraq but has since been highly critical of the way Bush conducted it and its aftermath. He said the United States must work with other countries “instead of walking alone.”
Walking alone?
Does he really think people believe his spin on this issue?
The United States is far from the only nation who took part in ousting the murderous tyrant Saddam Hussein – - and I believe those nation’s should be offended at their part being down played to the point that Kerry and many others neglect to give them the proper respect and credit for their participation.
So I take it that he wouldn’t change a thing that is being done know execpt that it will be done by a DEM?
And on top of that, we would get that terrific “Let Them Eat Cake” down-talking vibe from the guy for free.
Yup, sounds good to me.
Geez — if we have to get a Dem, I really hope it’s someone of a decidedly smaller ego, like Edwards…
Well, all the dems are saying that we went it alone because the Frogs wern’t with us. Oh, neather were Germany or Russia. Although, I do believe that France wanted to go into Haiti without UN approval.
Oh wait, it has nothing to do with the security of the US so they can do what ever they want to.
You know, I still wonder what the heck is in Haiti to make the French nervous enough to intervene. I guess it must be a lot more important than the oil deals they were getting from Iraq, that’s all I can say…
Also, that hypocrite Kerry was singing a different tune in 1997 about our military, our so called ‘unilateral’ actions, and the dangers of Iraq…
This is a direct quote from Mr. Ketchup… on “Crossfire”… He Said: “We know we can’t count on the French. We know we can’t count on the Russians. We know that Iraq is a danger to the United States and we reserve the right to take pre-emptive action whenever we feel it’s in our national interest.”
…[let me translate that from liberalese to conservatese]…”I mean when it is in the Democrats best interest and there is a Democrat President, or during an election year in which I am running for President… any other time is just pure partisan politics on the Republicans side of the aisle…”
This was in 1997… And he thinks were so stupid as to forget what he said… how little he knows the American people.
I’ve had to lay off some people, but I am a CEO of a major corporation and I’ve made lots of money. Thanks to you President Bush!
oh, yeah, what corporation? if you have the guts to tell…
dicnbush must not be one that is educated enough to realize that education is the key to advancement in business. He must not have run his company properly
he must be the head of one of those corportations like Edwards… a class ‘S’ corportation… with only one person employed… himself. that would figure why he is the Head of major corportation… yeah, his butt…
