This reminds me of a skit I saw Carol Burnette do once. She had attended a funeral and a wedding at the same time. Her dress and beads were black on one side and white on the other. She also wore a black earring and a white one. Ditto the shoes. This way she would fit in at both.

I’m not sure what confuses me more — the increasing waffling of Kerry, or the support of those who insist that they are not “blindly following the party line,” yet are proud to declare themselves “flip-floppers” in support of Kerry. I would think that those in support of gay marriage would be disturbed by the notion that Kerry would only be supportive of such a cause during a convenient moment.

I’m really surprised; usually Kerry supports judges who legislate from the bench instead of following the rule of law???

Just wondering how he thinks that people feel about his indecision. Part of being a leader, or even an adult, is speaking up for what one believes and making a real stand. Either it is right or wrong…period. I happen to think that it is wrong and will face anyone on the moral and factual realities of the issue. I expect as much of my president!
