Filmmaker, Moore, Offers Berg Video To Family
Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore interviewed Nick Berg, the American contractor beheaded in Iraq, for his latest film and has offered to show the footage to Berg’s family before he would release it, a family spokesman said on Friday.
If I were a conspiracy theorist – I’d be giving some thought to a contrived theory I read in an email earlier:
Can someone tell me how Michael Moore, in a nation of 300 million, came in contact with Nick Berg (at a time when young Berg was a nobody when it came to Bush, 9/11, or any other public matter)?
What did Berg have that actually justified Moore to take the time to interview him?
Is there an answer to that?
I could speculate that his interview was a job interview for someone going into Iraq to find stuff to use against Bush in a film, and that Moore taped the interview (and did hire Berg, and that’s what Berg was doing).
If so, maybe Moore and Berg thought that their anti-Bush mission and a Koran in Berg’s pocket was an automatic 100% guarantee of protection, hence Berg’s baffling behavior of total disregard for security in Iraq.
In this scenario, it seems possible that Berg’s politically active socialist dad somehow knew Moore and put his son in touch with Moore, and now in typical socialist denial he blames Bush for his own hand in this???
I’m not much of a conspiracy hound – - but it is curious as to how Nicholas Berg made it into Michael Moore’s radar screen. /shrug
In other words, the father is so far bent to the left we can make this crap up! That is how he made it into the movie!
It does seem a little peculiar!

micheal moore is a wimp. he enjoys the liberties many people have died for and are currently fighting for.he is a opportunist and a leach, who enjoys fueling the al-Qaida here in the states by creating conflict. this is a time to prevent another 9/11. i hope he enjoys his july 4 like our troops oversea will.
Well at least Michael Moore is voicing his opinion, everyday we hear more and more about the CIA lied, this was staged, there are no WMD, does anyone even remember Bin Laden??? The real enemy, the one no one is going after, I don’t agree with everything moore says but i like he is allowed to say if you don’t like it don’t listen, the good ole american past time of ignoring any truths that make you question how powerful america WAS. How come none of you are over in Iraq, you’re judging michael moore for not serving only complaining yet you sit there and complain doing excatly what you say you hate moore for. I have at present lost a friend in Iraq and i honor him everyday, instead of being brainwashed by the media try learning things yourself, that’s what michael moore does.
it’s funny you talk of “not being brainwashed by the media” yet you defend moore who is doing nothing but brainwashing people, he is doing more than showing another side..he is twisting the truth, it’s been clearly shown time and time again.

Many people here voice their opinions. The difference is that Moore has a platform which he uses to spread lies and deceits. Surely you aren’t suggesting that we let lies and deceits go unchallanged?

With all due respect, where have you been? The exact opposite has been shown lately. We are finding out that the CIA didn’t lie, and that there were WMD’s, proscribed weapons and proscribed weapons program in Iraq in violation of 12 years of international agreements and treaties.

No one is complaining that Moore is not serving in the military in any capacity. What is being said is that Moore, unlike many of us here, support the troops in many ways. Moore’s films and outlandish lies actually serve the purpose of hurting the military and in the long run will result in more deaths of soldiers and civilians.
To German fans Moore asked, “Should such an ignorant people [Americans] lead the world?”
In England, regarding American intelligence Moore saud: “They are possibly the dumbest people on the planet.”
You say that you honor your fallen friend eveyrday. Do you think that his view of the US was the same as Moore’s? Do you think that your friend was stupid and ignorant?
Moore does.
Do you think that you friend was proud of his service? Or do you think that he should have died in Iraq for what is going on there?
Moore thinks he should have died – and wants more soliders to die.
(Quoting Moore) “I’m sorry, but the
majority of Americans supported this war once it began and, sadly, that majority must now sacrifice their children until
enough blood has been let that maybe — just maybe — God and the Iraqi people will forgive us in the end.”
Honor your friend by seeking out what is right and just.
You’ll find that Moore does not hold the positions your friend believed in, fought for, and paid the umtilmate sacrifice for.

Well, what burns my britches about Moore is that he toutes his films as documnetaries. AS a result, a lot of people blindly accept the movie as fact. The definition of a documentary is as follows:
“Presenting facts objectively without editorializing or inserting fictional matter, as in a book or film. ”
So from it’s very premise, his films are lies.
