Most of us have heard about what happened on CNN during the closing of the Democratic National Convention. Apparently the balloons didn’t want to co-operate and Don Mischer, Director of the convention was heard saying / shouting:
“‘No confetti. No confetti yet. Go balloons. Go balloons. More Balloons. All balloons. All balloons. Come on guys, let’s move it! Jesus. We need more balloons. I want all balloons to go, %&@*$! No confetti. No confetti. No confetti. I want more balloons. What’s happening to the balloons? We need more balloons. We need all of them coming down! Balloons. Balloons. Balloons. What’s happening! They’re not coming down. All balloons. Where the hell! Nothing is falling. What the %@*&@ are you guys doing up there? We want more balloons coming down. More balloons. More balloons”
Doesn’t he realize getting that upset over balloons can’t be good for his blood pressure?
Well now that Don knows the world either heard him as he was doing it live or we’ve all heard the snip he is sorry:
The producer of the Democratic National Convention in Boston “deeply apologized” on Friday for his exasperated, profanity-laced tirade which on worldwide TV just as Kerry ended his acceptance speech.
“I feel terrible about it, and I deeply apologize to anyone I might have offended,” Hollywood heavy Don Mischer tells Saturday’s LA Times.
CNN said it had received permission from Mischer to air audio from the control room from time to time to provide behind-the-scenes flavor.
But Mischer said he had no idea his control-room comments were being broadcast at the time.
So he only screams at everyone when he doesn’t think the world is listening.
I wasn’t offended at all and got a rather good laugh out of the whole thing. Hmmm, I wonder if the FCC will fine CNN?
On the radio they took all the background noise out of it and were playing the, “What the *&^% are you guys doing up there!?” part over and over. Haha.
Reilly made a good point, he is soory we heard it, but probably thinks nothing of saying it again to employees.
It was hilarious to hear the replays though!
Reilly:
You need to find something else to occupy your time. Since you’re so concerned about the future of America, why don’t you spend a little time researching the possibility that the CIA put Bush in the whitehouse, and that Bush was behind 9/11. Keep me posted. If you’re man enough.
In Jesus’ Glorious and Holy name,
Dean Berry — REAL American
peejz:
I’m sure as a confusative you’re truly concerned for the plight of employees. Score!
In Jesus’ Glorious and Holy name,
Dean Berry — REAL American
Dean,
Reilly is a woman.
Dean – The CIA didn’t put GW in the WH – that would have been the citizens of the United States of America (real Americans) who voted for him and will vote for him again.
As for GW being behind 9/11 that is truly irresponsible and ridiculous on your part.
Why don’t you take the time and read the 9/11 Commission report and swallow the truth like a man.
thank you for giving Dean a clue, Sandman
What?! George Bush is behind 9/11??? funny, I didn’t read that in the 9/11 report… we need to get those people back together and revise it… Dean, you strike me as a person who really doesn’t know what he is talking about and just likes to spout off conspiracy theories and TRY to look cool, but I bet you got beat up alot at school… or are you still in school – SCORE!
this is not Kindergarten, this is real life and do you really, actually, believe that a sitting president would allow 3000 citizens of his country to be murdered and just not do anything about it??? I mean, come on, think about if for a minute… the only world leader that has come even close to doing something like that is
NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN, British prime minister, whose policies failed to avert the outbreak of World War II in Europe in 1939.
Chamberlain confronted the threat to peace posed by Germany and Italy by Seeking to appease Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. he first negotiated a treaty with Italy accepting the conquest of Ethiopia on condition that Italy withdraw from the Spanish Civil War. Turning to the Czech question, Chamberlain conferred with Hitler and Mussolini. In the Munich pact (1938), signed also by France (big surprise), Chamberlain accepted Hitler’s territorial claims to predominantly German areas of Czechoslovakia. Though Chamberlain assured Britain that his concession had brought “peace in our time, Hitler soon broke his agreement and occupied the rest of Czechoslovakia.
So he gave away a part of another country to appease a Tyrant and it didn’t work…
so you’re saying the Pres. Bush did the same thing… Gave away 3000 lives for political gain??? when you get back to reality let us know… we want to know how crazy feels… Looney.
