doubletakebill, i agree we can’t know the conspiracies or calculation that goes into making these decisions. they could say nothing like the President, an implied act of support, or denounce it, knowing it’s just for p.r and really wishes it would run 24/7. this game is not a tea party unless there’s a bunch of automatic weapons at the tea party.

hmmm… I guess I find it interesting that he denounced the one just released and has been silent on the other. (I’m guessing he has) I mean, once he feels the heat of the Swift boat guys, this ad pops up and he denounces it. It’s a way of trying to get Bush to denounce the Swift ads…

I think Kerry’s got nothing to loose by taking the high ground. It’s a good move on his part. Moveon.org really can’t stop the ads now can they? I mean, wouldn’t that show some sort of connection between Kerry and the Moveon folks? I’m thinking that could be seen as some sort of violation of the org being independent from Kerry…

Why should Bush denounce the TV commercials? Was Bush there? Does he know what happened more than the vets that were there?

These people have a right to say what they want and I don’t think that Bush could tell them to knock it off even if he wanted to. Doesn’t he have to keep a separation between himself and the ‘independent’ voices?

That’s like asking Kerry to denounce the Move on TV Spots… just silly and it’s not going to happen…
