You forgot, Kerry is supporting the filibuster against the Constitutionally mandated up or down vote for Bush’s Appeallate court nominees.

Constitution says 51 senators aye, and the Judge is on the bench. Daschle and Kerry say not so fast, you need 60 to get a vote, which isn’t in the Constitution.

Okay, now were moving in the ‘right’ direction. This debate over Senator Kerry’s record in Vietnam is ridiculous. I’m glad to see his voting record come up. If you want to criticize Senator Kerry, there is plenty in his record as Senator to discuss.

I hope everyone realizes that each vote is more complicated than presented here. Most of the bills aren’t simple single issue up or down votes. Listing a Senator’s votes in this manner can easily misrepresent what was really voted for or against; for ANY Senator.

While I don’t agree with the current ‘judge’ filibuster, the filibuster has been used many times by both Democrats and Republicans.

It’s true that each one of these bills is more complicated than a yes or no vote BUT if you notice on this list that there are many cases where he DIDN’T EVEN VOTE. THAT is the difference.

Why doesent anyone just research Kerry and not just sit back and listen to his rhetoric about what he stands for, it is in black and white for anyone who wants to read it. I hope the American people realize in the debates he is just saying what he thinks people want to hear.

How much of the “failed to vote” tally is when Kerry was campaigning for president? Should he fly into D.C. for every vote? Preposterous.

How much of the pro-Bush crowd is in the upper 2% of the population — that is the slice who received the disproportionate share of Bush’s tax cut. Bush is just another Cut & Spend “conservative” who rachets up the deficit.

Oh hell no he shouldn’t fly back for every vote Michael. Why start now? He already has the worst voter turn out in the senate as it is.
