Just as a historical curiosity, I present the fact that at the Republican Convention in New Orleans in 1988, Mrs. Schlafly gave a party with the theme “Let the Good Times Roll,” thus proving the enduring role of irony at political conventions. on our 'friends', internationaly: Look, the Coalition of the Willing is a public embarrassment, a monument to diplomatic witlessness, not to mention open bribery. Bush and Cheney are too nice to do it, but I am offended that the press, the uninformed, and house organs like dg, shiloh, etc. give Kerry a pass for going to Paris while a Naval officer to have an unauthorized meeting with an enemy we were at war with and then come home to offer aid and comfort to that enemy by proclaiming and promoting the enemy's demands. Kerry doesn't even know which direction he himself wants to go... here we are two months to go and Kerry is still trying to define himself, not through actions, but from his past, and only four months of it at that...
