more paid-off journalists:
your tax dollars at work for a partisan political agenda.

On Thursday, a third example surfaced. Mike McManus, who writes a weekly column syndicated in 30 to 40 newspapers, said he was paid about $4,000 to train marriage mentors in 2003 and 2004. McManus was subcontracted by the Lewin Group, which had a contract to support community-based programs "to form and sustain healthy marriages."
McManus' non-profit group, Marriage Savers, also is being paid $49,000 by a group that received a Health and Human Services grant to teach similar principles to unwed couples who are having children.

The No-boo story has been listed on Wikipedia, but liberals are voting to have it deleted. Please cast your vote to keep it. This clear evidence of the MSM creating news to tilt an election must be documented and preserved.
Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No-boo, and cast your vote to not delete the article.

I was there as well. There were no boos at all. Only applause when President Bush asked us to keep him in our thoughts and prayers. My mother called me and told me this was being reported and asked me what happened. I was outraged.

I hope Clinton's surgery goes well, I hate his politics but I dont want to see anything bad happen to him. I do think that I have seen plenty of very hateful protest signs about Bush though, and wishing some awful things on him. Signs that said "Where is John Hinkley?" or this doozie, "Barabra should have had a choice" proudly carried by a pro-choice protester.:roll:I want to be fair in looking at both sides of an issue but I do see the left as being a more hateful bunch of people.

Jim - thanks!

PCD - I've written Hugh, as well - - and sent it to Drudge, who is also on the story. I don't think that reprinting the story three different times can be considered a retraction.

I think it was an intentional slam at GW and irresponsible journalism at it's WORST!

Glenn Reynolds over at Instapundit has linked this story and a bunch of bloggers are picking up on it - not sure if it will change anything, but at the very least - the story is exposed, whether the AP does the right thing, or not.
