If the people who build the wing of the hospital don’t have or can afford health insurance, who’s gonna use it?

You need to review your economics. Capitalism doesn’t work without consumers.

“…you fail to realize that employees like you are a dime a dozen. You are not needed and can and are being replaced. Whether or not you work has no bearing on the wealth of this country.”

Repubs talk about the virtues of hard work and making “right choices” or having ambition and earning a “piece of the pie”. But when workers have ambition and want a piece of the pie, you scream that we’re greedy.

Peejz thinks overtime is a perk. You can’t get any more selfish or greedy than that!!

The mantra of the Reagan 80′s was “Greed Is Good.” It must still be today.

The number of workers are far greater than the number of consumers. You guys made all the “right choices”, went to school, or know something about economics. What happens when there are no more consumers?

Here’s a better example. Henry Ford’s assembly line made so many new cars so fast that he couldn’t sell any more than the wealthy could buy. The average well-off in those days had two-three of Fords cars. His own employees could not even afford them.

So what did Ford do?

I didn’t say small business’ didn’t support Bush. I said you won’t find small business owners in Bush’s cabinet.

What is the percentage of new small business’ that fail? How do small business’ hold up to Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Wal-Greens, etc.

Compare small banks with large banks.

Even small business’ that make parts for big corporations go through multiple changes and owners in cycles of collapse, even though the big corporation remains unscathed.

Subsidiaries are good feeeder to big corporations. Someplace to lay blame or pay for mistakes.

I do not oppose small business. But the interests of the country under Bush lie within the Military-Industrial-Complex, with big corporations dictating US policy, at the expense of American lives.

And before you make assumptions about what lies within the heart and mind of peejz, perhaps you should ask her directly if she cares about anyone else. I’m pretty sure you’ll hear a different viewpoint…and who would know better about herself than peejz?

I do try to buy only Made In USA, as well. But it is difficult. And when you consider the country the product you bought is made in, your job can go next.

Should you be paid more as a nurse or should the auto mechanic be paid less?

I sympathize with your disability, but what benefits would that be? Social Security? medicare?

It is a joke to think Bush is really concerned about small business’. Bush’s only regard to small business is how they can be devoured by big corporations. Sorry. No lobbyists for small business in Bush’s cabinet. But, if you have an oil tanker named after you, you’re covered!
