  1. Kerry can get no news unless its bad news I guess! I love these headlines!:grin:

  2. I,ll bet the demacrats are running around like chickens with their heads cut off it must be a nervous place in the demacratic stalls the jackasses are as nervous as a long tailed cat in a rocking chair factory:lol::smile::mrgreen:

  3. Last night my husband decided that Bush was going to win by a landslide. I won’t go that far…but things are really looking up! :)

  4. I love this b/c:
    1) I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, land of Wellstone
    2) I am a huge Packers fan and
    3) Now live in Arizona.

Looking like the three of these guys (prob in reverse order) could go the right way this year!

Now please don’t tell anyone that I went to college in Amherst, MA and grad school at NYU. My vote was useless in ’00 while in NYC.

Lisa – we need to make sure Wisco goes to Bush this year. Planning to get to the Dallas/GB game up in “Lambert” in October – I’ll be wearing my Bush/Cheney t-shirt and a Packers hat!!! (My sis lives in MKE so I go up there as often as I can).

  5. K – got extra tickets??

Lived here all my life and have never gone to a game. . . inside the field, that is. Been to plenty, plenty tailgate parties out in the parking lot, tho! lol

Tickets are HARD to come by around here – unless you’re a season ticket holder or if you want to pay a literal fortune for nosebleed tix over EBay!

    :)

  6. Will blog for Packer Tickets! lol

  7. My sister’s ex-boyfriend’s parents (whoa) are season ticket holders, so she can usually snag a game off them. (Maybe not this year, since he just got married to someone else). Or she can sometimes get them from the bank her company works with. I did meet a woman from WI while climbing a mountain out here (random) whose family also were season ticket holders and offered tickets to me last year. Why don’t you shoot me an email (you can see my email address, I am sure) and let me know what game you are interested in – I probably could call/email a few people. No promises, but you HAVE to go to a game!!! I went to the Packers/Cardinals game here last year – it was 115 degrees, mostly Packer fans, and we LOST! That was hell.

  8. PS We wanted to go to the Vikings/GB game this year on 11/14, but that’s close to impossible.

  9. K, I worked at Lambeau for 3 years during Jr. High School. There are no unions in that workforce Da union Goon. That is why we got the work done and the people could enjoy the game without union hassles.

I don’t have a piece of the frozen tundra, just a box they were selling it in.

You hear anything about UW-Madison kids greeting Kerry with a sign, “It’s Lambeau, Stupid”? Viking Pundit, http://www.vikingpundit.blogspot.com, had the heads up.

  10.  That is scandalous! I love those kids!

  11. And, I stole this nugget from that Viking Pundit’s site: http://slate.msn.com/id/2106527/

  13. and for the latest on the admistrations war on terror:
Published on Thursday, April 29, 2004 by the Associated Press

More Agents Track Castro Than Bin Laden
    by John Solomon

WASHINGTON – The Treasury Department agency entrusted with blocking the financial resources of terrorists has assigned five times as many agents to investigate Cuban embargo violations as it has to track Osama bin Laden’s and Saddam Hussein’s money, documents show.

Bin laden was not mention the Bush or Cheney at the RNC. why should they. they got Saddam even tho there was no connection with 9/11.
they keep saying there was, tho.
still lookin’ for those pesky weapons?

  14. Shiloh, these poll numbers are just killin ya huh?! And again, Bush never said there was a connection between Saddam and 9/11 HOWEVER!!! There was a connection between Saddam and terorists thus we are fighting a war on terrorism….in Afganistan, Iraq, here at home, and we all know that we have to focus closely on North Korea, Iran….I trust Bush to do a much better job doing that and its clear that the majority of Americans do too.

  15. hello Dee,

if you want to believe in polls, Dewey was elected president and Truman went back to selling hats. on top of that:

A national survey of 1,972 registered voters by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, conducted in two waves over a seven-day period Sept. 8-14, finds that the president’s 52%-40% advantage in the initial period dissipated in the polling conducted Sept. 11-14. The second wave of interviewing shows the race even among registered voters, at 46%-46%. When the sample is narrowed to likely voters, Bush holds a statistically insignificant lead of 47%-46% in the second wave, down from the huge 54%-39% advantage he held in the first wave of interviews.”

  16. oops here’s the link for the poll post #15
    s

  17. I have to agree with Sean Hannity and Shiloh that we can’t count on the polls. We need to contiunue to push hard til 11/2.

I am hoping the ad that moveon.org just created that shows one of our troops in quicksand, sinking with his arms up to look as though he is surrendering, will only hurt kerry. As one military guy said today, “WE NEVER GIVE UP.”

  18. Well lets just put it this way, I know polls arent definate but I’m certainly not panicked. Kerry is doing a good job of messing up any chane he may have of become our president….. Kerry as president, oohh what an awful, awful though:???:

  19. Dee- it is an awful thought. What scares me is the people who hate Bush so much they may not realize how damaging it would be to vote for the alternative. I mean, c’mon, Dems, couldn’t you find a better man than the most liberal in the Senate?

  20. No kidding:roll: We are fighting a war on terrorists and the dems put forth an anti-war, ultra liberal boob who will want to ask the U.N. for permission to protect ourselves…my god thats scary.

  21. dee – you hit all RNC talking points without an opinion.

When your opponent is drowning, throw the son of a bitch an anvil.
    James Carville

    we are one.

    bye all

    best

  22. ? I dont need the RNC to help me recognize that John Kerry is not fonda’ war….ummm hello we are in the middle of one right now. And he has also said that he will get more support from other nations if he is elected, WHAT OTHER NATIONS? We arent doing this alone you know. I listen to what Kerry says he wants to do if he is elected and it confuses me, he does not stick to one single idea. Sorry I just dont like the guy and I hope he doesnt win this November because if he wins I think we will be in big, big trouble. You can tell me all you want about how the Bush adminstration has scared me into voting for them but I think the democrats use there own little fear tactics of there own for political gain, Micheal Moore’s little gem of a movie, talk about scaring the living day lights out of Americans. Sorry I just dont trust the left, and I dont like there vision for the future of this country.

  23. And for the record, I just want to say I dont like war, I know the president doesnt like sending our troops to war, but this is a war we have to fight, in my opinion, I’m glad we have a president that finally decided to do something about these terrorist that for years hit us again and again while we just sat back and did NOTHING.

  24. This is super simplistic, and clearly has some holes, but I like it: There’s an email going around, talking about the war on Iraq. Essentially, it goes like this: imagine you are taking out your trash one evening, and you notice your neighbor on his porch, beating his wife. their kids are screaming, and you are unsure what to do. you know that how they run their lives is their business, but know it is not right. sure enough, this man kills his wife. you go to your neighborhood coalition to get help in getting rid of this man, but they won’t help. the next day, you see this man breaking into another neighbor’s house, killing a family. what do you do? do you actively go after this man by yourself, or wait til he comes knocking on YOUR door?

i shortened that substantially, but i think you get the gist. no one wants our soldiers killed. but no one wants another attack on our soil, either. (and shiloh don’t start with the no ties to 9/11 – this whole thing is a war on TERROR and the individuals who support it. it may take time, but i trust in the judgement of Bush and the extraordinary talent and intelligence of our military leaders to pull us through. it’s not going to be easy. if it were, we wouldn’t be blogging!) have good weekends all.

  25. and shiloh, considering you are so close to canada…are you aka canuck? he’s mia.
