Protestors Storm, Ransack Bush-Cheney Headquarters In Orlando
Local 6 News reported that several people from the group of 100 Orlando protestors face possible assault charges after the group forced their way inside the Republican headquarters office.
While in the building, some of the protestors drew horns and a mustache on a poster of President George W. Bush and poured piles of letters in the office, according to the report.
Two protestors received minor injuries when the crowd stormed the building, including a Republican volunteer.
One of the protestors said she wanted to send a message. “We want to send a clear message to Bush, we want him to take his hands off our overtime pay,” she said.
Busting into an office and destroying items in that office while harming volunteers is the way to get a message out? I don’t think so.
48 -Dear K- yeah i was kinda messin’ with you hopin’ Dee would ask 49 – & now on to 50 (or so)
Has anyone heard about the computer disks found in Iraq containing plans on possiable attacks in schools here in U.S.? Another good reason why we went in…
dee, that’s interesting – i overheard something about schools in the us on the news this am, but didn’t know it had to do with iraq. do you have any source?
i don’t know Bush personally so i can’t answer that. i don’t know every bit of legislation he’s been the force behind, so i can’t speak to those.
the major impact he’s had on America and on America’s image around the world has been a tradgedy and people have died unnecessarily on account of his confessed ‘miscalculation’.
the buck used to stop in the Oval Office. now i don’t know where the hell it stops. it doesn’t seem to stop at all. all the ‘miscalculators’ are still on the payroll.
but the dead are still dead.
4 more years? i hope not. Kerry has a hellova lot more knowledge and experience than Bush had,
coming from a ‘weak Governor’ state like Texas, having to surround himself with people who went to war in ’91, still carrying the old agenda and ideology with them.
it’s kind of hard to blame Bush for the mess. i don’t believe he had the experience nor the will to stand up to Cheney & Feith & Wolfowitz as they mongered war from the start of his sad administration.
have i responded sufficiently? there’s more.
K- I would like to see some results pretty soon. They keep asking for more money, which I am all for, if in fact we are on the right track!
again shiloh, you managed to turn it around. she didn’t ask you what you think is bad, but what you think is good. i saw that from my quick skim, of course.
Diana Kerry is in Australia trying to presuade them to no longer help us in Iraq and trying to sway the election there, at the same time John Kerry rips Bush for not having enough help….
55- hi peej – which post are you referring to? sorry, it’s end of the day
I’m sorry K, I dont know how to send the link to you but if you go to msn the link is there…
peejz re 50 – did you happen to read 21?
those are his words tho i am confident another interpretation is forthcoming.
after all – we’re in complete control is Iraq, aren’t we?
opps….I tryed dont know how:oops:
56 i adressed the most positive points in my 1st paragraph of 55 -
hey, maybe he’s kind to his dog.
otherwise, he’s a politician i have no respect for no matter what kind of man he is. ok, K?
57 — Dee, that’s downright scary!
BTW, are you having a bit of trouble with that link-button?
60 – man shiloh, you are really getting my goat today. do you think war is easy? it’s hard work, work is hard, hard work! it’s hard work.
hehe, just a little fun with W.
Seriously though. I didn’t expect to be completely in control…and furthermore, we want the Iraqis to gain control.
59, 61, 62, 63
dee- type a word in the box and highlight the word with your mouse. click “link” and you will get a little pop up to put the link into. you need to have something in this box tho.
Dee, did you hit the “link”-button? Just hit that button, and a dialog box for your URL should show up — go ahead and paste the URL in there, then hit “OK.” The code should automatically post itself in the “A HREF”-code, and then you can type whatever you want the link to say, then hit the “link”-button again; by this point, there should be a backslash, and it will automatically close the code.
Here’s an example of linked text.
I might sound silly but I dont understand how to use the link button…or maybe I did it right but It didnt work
K- I was referring to stem cell!
I read it, and my question still stands, hence I asked it. I gave him the same benefit of the doubt that I gave Kerry on the “Global Test” answer.
dee – i didn’t find your link on msn, but i did find this piece of news
70 – got it now, peejz. the thing is a lot of people think bush is against stem cell research, when in fact, he is not (with some ethical boundaries).
K – 66 – perhaps peejz doesn’t remember, but one of the last times we spoke was when i disputed her assertion that ‘insurgents’ didn’t control any territory in Iraq.
i was wondering if she still held that belief.
74 – that’s your discussion with her, shiloh. i don’t know enough about it to talk about it.
K i wasn’t trying to get u involved. just explaining cause of your last paragraph in 75
SignOnSanDiego.com
the title of the article is S.D. school crisis plan is found on disk in Iraq
Kelly Thorton is journalist, the Article is from 9/30
peejz – yr 77 –
i told you i had confiedence in you. didn’t Lott have to resign from Majority Leader because of what you read? you may give him the benefit of the doubt, but others, including his peers, did not.
OK I will try this
shiloh, are you drunk? do you mean peejz’s post 50? and what paragraph in 75 of mine are you referring to – i only had one paragraph.
K make that last parag in 66. g’nite
Hey…thanks ladies! That link above is the Kerry sister story
Ok this is the one about the disk found in Iraq
not drunk yet. thought i’d smoke some and drink some and visit local Bush HQ. see you in the funny papers.
