The most startling moment on the Osama bin Laden videotape shown yesterday was his description of the morning of 9/11, which is certainly derived ” albeit in garbled form ” from a viewing of Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11.”
“It never occurred to us that he, the commander in chief of the country, would leave 50,000 citizens in the two towers to face those horrors alone, because he thought listening to a child discussing her goats was more important,” bin Laden said.
If Moore wins an Oscar for his propaganda he should thank Osama bin Laden, murderer of countless innocent people, in his acceptance speech. This is Michael Moore’s fan club. This is a terrorist who finds Michael Moore’s words to be quotable. Michael Moore has caused such deep riffs of hate with his opinions, not facts, but opinions that Freedom of Speech doesn’t even begin to cover it. How can words such as these be protected under the First Amendment – - what about sedition?
I wonder what Moore would say if he heard this one? I guess that depends on whether or not Osama is the good guy or the bad guy in Moore’s works of fiction.
Well, seeing that Moore’s movie centers on Bush’s decision to divert attention away from OBL to Saddam, I don’t see the post’s point here. But I’m sure that OBL was as shocked as I was at Bush’s incompetence in those first minutes of crisis; or perhaps he was merely entertained. I thought it was surreal that OBL used the word “horror” to describe the situation in the towers, shortly after claiming responsibility. Most murderers display a sense of detachment from their crimes. Then again, most murderers don’t kill 3000 people.
I’m not surprised…they are all cut from the same Hate-America cloth….

If anyone really stops to think about what OBL said which was Bush “sat there while 50,000″ Americans were dying. Well, what did he think Bush could do; don a blue suit and red cape and save the day? Puhleesse. Any anyone who criticizes Bush for those few minutes should be ashamed of themselves. Leaders are supposed to be calm, cool and collected in a crisis. THAT is why they are leaders. And by Kerry’s own admission he sat in his spot at the Capitol for more than 40 minutes doing nothing.
BonBon you missed one thing leaders are supposed to do and this is “act”. He sat there frozen not doing anything. It’s amazing how you can try and pin anything on Kerry from this post just shows how you republicans are one nation under the elephant.

I’d rather have a President stay calm and continue what he was doing as not to create nationwide panic for 7 minutes then a President who “couldn’t even move” for 20 minutes after the attack (coughKerrycough).
I am sure that Michael Moore likes the US as much as Bush likes it. They just expect different things from it.
I am sure that the resistants against the nazis all over Europe were considered as traitor by the governments (in France and Germany for example), but I don’t believe they were wrong. I am not comparing Bush and Hitler, just saying that in any situation, in any country (Germany elected Hitler !), people should be appreciated who challenge the government (even if they are wrong, or thought to be wrong)
