Moore Gets No Love From Old High School
Oscar on the shelf or not, Michael Moore is not getting much respect at his old high school. Despite his fame and many honors, the filmmaker has been rejected all four times that he has been nominated for Davison High School’s Hall of Fame.
“Would you want him as a role model? Would you want your son or daughter to be like him?” asked Don Hammond, a member of the Hall of Fame selection committee. “I haven’t talked to anybody yet who’s for him. The word to describe Michael Moore is embarrassing. He embarrasses everybody.”
Ryan Eashoo disagrees (and is) trying to get Moore elected.
“We’ve been blacklisted,” Eashoo told the Detroit Free Press. “I’m a huge Michael Moore fan. He’s a great producer, great filmmaker, always sticking up for minorities. He’s kind of an underdog.”
Eashoo is trying to get 2,000 signed nominations by February 1st for the committee meeting February 11th when they gather to choose the inductees. So far he has 300.

His toe picking said it all for me:shock: This was on my host page this morning. At this point they have shut the nominations down due to the fact that it has turned political. In the article, it states that he would go to school board meetings and pick toe jam:neutral:

He is one class act. Unfortunately, Al Franked went to my high school and was awarded alumni of the year about 15 years ago. This was before the political BS, though. It was fo SNL

The Flint Journal reports that people in the area are still livid. In fact, Moore’s material was rejected from the Flint Film Festival last year because it was said the Moore wouldn’t show up anyway, and if he did, he’d suck all the attention away from the other filmmakers.

Too bad for mikie moore but it looks like your old alma matter dont care for a loud mouth idiot desptie the awards and frankly i hope his continues moore is not worth any award and besides these awards are rigged and i no longer bothering even to watch these dull awards shows:razz:
