Nugent to play fund-raiser for Crawford band

Texas Forget the bake sale. Ted Nugent will be jammin’ the gym on Saturday to raise money for a high school band’s trip to the presidential inauguration.

Nugent, who recently relocated from Michigan to tiny Crawford, home of President Bush’s ranch, is expected to play old favorites like “Cat Scratch Fever” at a sold-out show at Crawford High School.

It was very cool of Ted to jump in and give a concert to raise funds for the kids so they can attend the inauguration and march in the parade where they will play “The Yellow Rose of Texas” as they march down PA Ave.

    No Peejz, actually I don’t do phone; I don’t care what the commercials look like, I just know Jabba the Hut is on the other end talking dirty to me! It’d be just like watching porn; it’s more comedy than anything else.

    Seriously though K, I do have a girlfriend but it’s only just recently started getting anywhere serious so I was still a good buy while I was flirting with ya :) I assumed you were just playing around like I was, but I still think it would be fun to get together for a drink if you’re in the neighborhood.     UDPATE: Nugent concert more than enough to help Crawford band

    Last weekend’s benefit concert by rocker Ted Nugent raised enough money to send the Crawford High School band to perform in President Bush’s inaugural parade and then some.

    The Saturday night sold-out concert in the Crawford High School gym netted more than enough.
