U.S. adds 500 to patrol Ariz. border
More than 500 additional Border Patrol agents are being assigned to beef up patrols along the Arizona-Mexico border, with as many as 150 to 200 officers already headed there, federal officials and others said.
That news comes just days before civilian volunteers, calling themselves the Minuteman Project, are to begin their own monthlong patrols for immigrants crossing the border.
“This has absolutely nothing to do with the so-called Minuteman people,” Christiana Halsey, spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection Bureau, said Tuesday.
Halsey added that “obviously, Arizona border control also has an anti-terrorism mission.”
Them rushing 200 agents to the border has nothing to do with the “Minuteman Project”? What a crock. It has everything to do with it. They wanted to get those 200 agents there immediately because the project isn’t going to sit around and wait for our government to protect the border as they said they would.
The other 300 agents will arrive in stages to the Arizona border between now and the end of September.
And even though they are adding a total of 500 agents by fall it is still only a fraction of the agents that were supposed to be added and were never budgeted for.

yeah, the Coyote is Illegal i know that. its Smuggling and Very Dangerous, which i dont agree with, and dont support that what so ever. People die, but i think its a faster process??? Friend of mine been waiting 10 years, for his stuff. So I dont know, INS, and the Goverment need to speed that somehow, and that will Reduce Immigration, Drasticlly. as for how my dad did it he did it through the INS, He summited a application, back when he worked in the Fields. And i guess it was faster back then. he did follow the proper path, But then again its no longer avail.

Did your friend fill out the paperwork properly? Have you tried to assist the friend to see what is taking so long? It could be a simple paperwork problem, or your friend may have a reason in his/her past that is prohibiting their process.
Your father is a good example as far as I can tell, but you are wrong about the steps he took no longer being available. What may be prohibiting your friend is the 10 million illegals that decided to go ahead of him in the line.
