That’s right, boys and girls, it’s the start of Memorial Day Weekend here in the States. You know what that means? No, it’s not the kickoff of the summer season (even though it should be). It’s the first State Trooper Fundraiser of the year. Remember that even though you may have followed them down the road at seven or eight miles over the speed limit for the last few months, this weekend they’re probably going to pull you over if you go two miles over the limit. Don’t forget your seatbelt. Yes, most of them have problems spelling (let alone understanding) “Individual Freedom”. You leaving it off has no effect on the other people going down the road, but you should know by now that Big Brother knows what’s best for you . Plus, since they can collect for it, they’re going to. Don’t be upset, it’s for your own good. Finally, don’t forget to tip your friendly state trooper. They’re only taking your hard earned money for your own good and you should welcome and reward them for it…
