Elder Bush would like son Jeb to run for president
George Bush, the president’s father, would like to see another Bush in the White House someday, saying on Tuesday that he would want his son Jeb to run for president when the timing is right.
Florida Governor Jeb Bush has repeatedly said he does not plan to run for president in 2008, trying to dampen speculation that another Bush could be on the next Republican ticket for the White House.
In an interview on CNN’s “Larry King Live,” former President Bush said he would want Jeb to run for president “someday,” but now was not the time.
How would you feel about a Bush trilogy in the White House – - would you vote for Jeb? Why or why not?
“starting from a premise that Democrats/liberals are wrong and that Republicans/conservatives are right, as we always do on this web site”
Of course, that is a false premise. Are the rose colored liberal glasses you wear issued to you by Algore or Screamin’ Howard Dean?
Just curious,
Ted
“the sweeping generalizations i make are “bigotedâ€. the ones that members of “the club”here make are “truthsâ€.”- Always on the outside looking in, but can’t seem to figure out why no one wants to play with you
good morning peejz…you keep alluding to the fact that ‘no one wants to play’ with me, but i haven’t noticed a shortage of responses, vicious & petty as they may be, to most of my pathetic offerings.
apparently, you indeed want to play, even if just copying the schoolyard bully’s behaviour.
Ted…the really surprising thing, in that i respect your basic intelligence, is how you’ve come to reach so many conclusions regarding my motives &^ intent that, to me, wildly mis characterize both.
i honestly sometimes don’t recognize myself, reflected in your judgments. i suppose denial is as rampant in me as in others, but gee.
i’m going to wean myself off this pettiness that plays so rough, try to ignore the personal crap that has become a knee jerk reaction (altho sometimes darn entertaining – giving me an opportunity to use my dark side), in favor of a more elevated discourse.
i know to a couple, i’ll forever be a hater of America, but i think i can live without the approval of morons.

regarding Jeb Bush…
it’ll be a while before i don;t associate him with pushing thru a bill in the FLA legislature that was an obvious pandering to his conservative base, and more obviously unconstitutional and self-serving. extrapolating that behaviour to a national level gives me pause. like his brother saying during the campaign that same-sex marriage was a state issue, then flip flopping when elected, finally landing where he had always been. everyone lies to get elected. rationalizing that lie is easy for ideologues, for ‘truth’ is flexible to true believers.

I wish the rest of you would just treat shiloh just like the crazy aunt in the attic. Let him play with the bats in his belfrey by himself. He has more important things to do and he’d better get to them.
55-deal. Count me in.
55, Me too.
just think of him in passing, sitting in his rubber room, surrounded by “NO Justice No Peace” buttons, slobbering down his chin…..
friggin nut case.
