President Bush on Saturday celebrated victories Congress handed him this week, but he urged lawmakers not to rest on their laurels and to quickly approve his nomination of John Roberts to serve on the Supreme Court.
Senators should use their August recess “to prepare to act on my nomination” of Roberts, Bush said in his weekly radio address. “This talented and capable man will fairly interpret the Constitution and laws, not legislate from the bench.”
The White House didn’t wait for the prerecorded broadcast to issue quiet rejoinders to the talk of recent weeks that Bush could end up with little to show for his second term.
“Just two months ago, there were people in this room and some of your colleagues that were talking about lame-duck status and the president wasn’t going to be able to get anything done, and the Supreme Court nomination would derail the domestic agenda,” spokesman Scott McClellan scolded reporters on Friday.
You mean “victories” like Bush establishing a coalition of business groups and immigration activists to push its new ideals for aztlan? and the new idea of political race immigration “reform” I.E. Open borders for all?
helped by political judges?
Bush and business have a plan through congress, this plan is about cover-up’s of murder of a nation, and as far as the political judges go we have no real laws only the law of the gun and the law of death inside this insane non government.
the new bush foreign\so called US coalition would also use the Legislation and court system to recruit mass so called minority voters in the next so called election, and you can join for only $ 250,000.00 big ones, and think of all the FUN TO COME, Arms can make you free.
