Are The Flight Attendents Unions High????

By: Astro On: Sep/29/05 - 4 Comments

From MSN:

Three groups representing flight attendants are calling for a boycott of the box-office hit “Flightplan.”

In the Jodie Foster thriller about a mother looking for her missing daughter aboard a plane, a flight attendant colludes with an air marshal as part of a plot to extort a ransom from the airline.

Other flight attendants are shown treating passengers rudely and being unsympathetic to Foster’s character, whom they think might be delusional.

The groups contend that the Disney film could breed distrust of their members among real airline passengers.

“Should there be another 9/11, it would be critical for the cabin crew to have the support of their passengers, not the distrust that this movie may engender,” said Tommie Hutto-Blake, president of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants. “Our fellow crew members who perished in the line of duty deserve more respect.”

Two other organizations ” the Association of Flight Attendants and Transport Workers Union, Local 556 ” also called for a “Flightplan” boycott.

Combined, the three groups represent more than 80,000 flight attendants at 23 airlines.

A call to Disney seeking comment was not immediately returned Wednesday…

Of course the call wasn’t immediately returned. Everybody who heard about it was laughing too hard! I think it’s time for a little fantasy / reality training at the next safety meeting for the flight attendants. What next, prison guards and cops urging people to boycott Prison Break on Monday night because not all of them are bad people????

Evidently there are some thin skins at the union offices. This same thing happened at a local high school when a principal popped off berating the local rag for identifying a bank robber as a student of his school. He was in a royal huff because people would think all the kids were criminals and that his teachers were teaching a “if it feels good, take it” philosophy. On the latter point, that is what they are teaching and the public is getting it.

Oh, yes, that principal is no longer in this school district in any capacity.

 Its a movie its a union its a real world. kill the guys who want you dead, but understand one thing about government its about power and control and if it can, “because its made up of people just like you”, it will do its power thing on you.

In the aftermath of the hurricanes Katrina and Rita it has become obvious to anyone that if we have another natural disaster or a mass terrorists attack our government will use it as a pretext for a police state crackdown.
New Orleans is a showcase of that coming police state idea its ideals are to confiscated law abiding citizens guns to shot anyone not wanting to be removed and to lie about its actions, and that is what the Neocon’s want the total dismantling of our freedom’s..for the ideals of one world one people one idea, if you stand against this new idea you will be shot or have some long time in some hellish prison.
its the coming future and have fun; you all have it coming, don’t you:?: OH YES WHY ARE OUR BORDER SO OPENED TO MEXICO:shock:
