Coming Soon: The Ronnie Earle Movie
The DeLay prosecutor has let a film crew follow him through the whole case. For the last two years, as he pursued the investigation that led to Wednesday’s indictment of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, Travis County, Texas prosecutor Ronnie Earle has given a film crew “extraordinary access” to make a motion picture about his work on the case.
The film, according to the description, “follows maverick Austin DA Ronnie Earle’s investigation into what really happened when corporate money joined forces with relentless political ambitions to help swing the pivotal 2002 Texas elections, cementing Republican control from Austin to Washington DC.”
“We approached him [Earle], and he offered us extraordinary access to him and, to an extent, to his staff,” Birnbaum told National Review Online Thursday. “We’ve been shooting for about two years.”
Earle “allowed us behind the scenes when the indictments came down last year, the first wave of indictments,” Schermbeck says. “We got to follow him back to his home a couple of times, which I understand he doesn’t allow anybody to do.” Schermbeck says the film includes interviews with some critics of Earle, as well as lawyers who are representing some of the targets of the investigation.
Oh brother! This will be better than the Jackson trial!

Now, ellis, tofu, and shiloh in his many personalities, I’m calling you stuck on stupid partisans out. Earle is violating every ethical tenet known. Where is your criticism of him and his actions? Where are your calls for his jailing?
ellis, you hypocrite, time to admit you were wrong and time to admit you Democraps “were got” this time. You demand it of others, so now it is your turn, else we know what you stand for: Democrats using the powers of the DA’s office to persecute their enemies, using that power to shake down businesses ala Jesse Jackson, to convict people in the press with trumped up charges. You are a piece of work, ellis.

4, I want ellis to explain why we should not dismiss Earle as a hack since the only Democrats Earle indicted were CONSERVATIVE Democrats Earle was fighting with in the first place. Also, this filming of “Getting DeLay”, uh, ellis, how is this at all ethical???
Also, ellis, 2 years ago Earle, at a fund raiser for the Democrat version of DeLay’s pac that does the same financial actions as DeLay’s pac, declared how he was going to take DeLay and anyother GOP like him down. Is not that the actions of a partisan hack in full hack mode? Also, since this pac is doing the same exact things as DeLay’s pac, where are the indictments for the Democrats? I think Earle should be indicted on conspiracy charges himself. Where are you ellis?? I hear you running away again.

9, Sasha, they have proven what kind of partisan, ethicless bullies they are. A little bit of heat and they run like scalded doge, especially that sanctimonious ellis. He is what I’m not allowed to call him.
