With Hillary’s views on a variety of topics, her nomination would mobilize the NRA’s 3 million plus current members running to recruit and vote en masse for virtually anyone that the Republicans nominated. If only 66,000 in Ohio changed the results of the election in 2004, imagine what a few million could do across the nation? Her election could be the impetus for a potential civil war, unless Congress kept her in tight check. Yes, Congress has the power to keep a rogue President in check. The President can do a lot of things, but his power is severely limited by the Congress’s ability to control the budget. No money, no ATF agents, no DEA agents, no FBI agents etc, etc, etc.
The actions of her and her cronies during her husband’s time in the White House were abominable. There is currently a treaty under negotiation in the UN that will abolish virtually all private ownership of firearms. Under the recent ruling by the Supreme Court that used an international treaty, that the US wasn’t even a signatory to, instead of the Constitution to determine the constitutionality of a law, this treaty could be sited as justification for laws that would be blatantly in violation of the 2nd Amendment. She would sign it in a heartbeat if she became President and could strong arm it through the Senate. With her media lap dogs snapping at anyone who opposed her on it, it would almost certainly be ratified.
I do not want to seem like a conspiracy kook, but that would lead to a civil war the results of which might not be all that unlike the movie “The Postman” with Kevin Costner or the book “The Handmaid’s Tale”. The thought of either of these outcomes should lead any person with the ability to think logically to oppose any action that could even remotely lead to the adoption of that treaty.
