I think a minimum requirement should be that you are a living, sober, homo sapien. If these STRICT controls were in place, I doubt that John Kohn would have won a single state.

Of course we could use the Afghani method of preventing voter fraud and dip everyone’d fingers in indelible ink the first time they entered a polling place.

If this was ever done here, there would be truckloads of solvent delivered to the Union headquarters 30 days before each election, or maybe to the DNC offices.

The only reason to require photo id is to prevent voter fraud. Most states require voters to register in advance and then they issue voter registration cards to the registered voters. What would be so wrong with requiring those cards be picture ids and be presented BEFORE being allowed to vote? Of course we could use the Afghani method of preventing voter fraud and dip everyone’d fingers in indelible ink the first time they entered a polling place.

Snowy you are right. We are not a socialist country. We are a republic. The only way that we can insure that we remain a republic is to prevent the voter fraud that can result in us losing that status. The first step to doing that is to require positive identification to vote.

No one should have to have a valid ID to vote were not a socialist country were a rebublic and we dont want to have to carry IDs to vote and we dont want BIG BROTHER:mad:

What? Somebody voted it is “discriminatory”. How in the world can you make that case? With all of the known voter fraud issues, it should be a minimum requirement.
