Riots in France

By: Pam On: Nov/4/05 -

Michelle Malkin has a good piece on the rioting by Muslim gangs in Paris.

LGFhas been tracking “The Paris Intifada” and links to the latest on Day Eight.

Wretchard at The Belmont Club has this

The riots have already reached 20 suburbs of Paris. The Reuters story suggests they may now be spreading to other cities. French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy is hinting darkly of conspiracies. Should one conclude even more serious developments are in the offing? I don’t know. I think that neither Sarkozy nor the conspirators he refers to understand the exact potential of this thing, which is behaving like a chaotic system whose trajectory is difficult to predict except in the very short term.
Ideally, Sarkozy would be looking to simplify the situation by fixing some variables so that the remainder of the system will behave in a more linear manner; gradually damping it down until it can be controlled. But splits within the French cabinet have done the opposite: they have added more variables to the mix and now it’s shake, rattle and roll.

In these situations, as most rabble-rousers know, there is typically a race on the ground to see who can ‘harness’ the energies unleashed to best advantage. My own guess, without any special knowledge, is that ‘community moderates’, ideological radicals and even gangsters are in a derby to see who can control events. The French government by contrast, seems tied up in knots and is casting around for leverage, a way to get a handle on the events of the past week.

She has many other links to check out. I encourage you to read this. It wasn’t until the 4th day of the rioting that the MSM picked up on the stor. It had to be pointed out to them by bloggers.

The so called French Muslim riot will happen in all counties and they won’t be a crackdown until the governments of the world start acting like real governments and taking care of its own people.

6, Mike is more direct than that, and so am I. You riot, you die, period. End of riot.

How about taking it to the next level. You riot, you and your whole family die. End of riot, no future riots.

8, non-rioters are not breaking the law. Even in the Napoleanic Code, there’s laws against rioting.

Now, Z, why is a good liberal like yourself even joking about killing innocent kin? Thats beneath you.

Nothing is beneath me right now (unfortunately).

I haven’t hit the crack pipe yet. Actually, I’ll joke on almost anything; especially on a Friday afternoon. Besides, I’m not nearly the liberal you guys take me for.

Riots can be simple to control. You simply have to handle violent rioters as if they were terrorists, which essentially they are. Tear gas isn’t nearly as effective as rubber bullets. It will deter some but will have limited effect on the violent rioters. a couple of volleys of rubber shotgun slugs will damper the spirits of all of the rioters. It’s simply a fire twice, advance past the people who are down, have people in the back arrest and handcuff the rioters who were shot, and repeat until the mob runs away. Aim chest level and below and the people hit will have a LOT of pain, some nasty bruises, and a pair of handcuffs before they know what hit them. If you aim at the heads of rioters (hit one or two there “by Accident” to make a point) and you’ll either blind or kill them. That will really take the wind out of the rioters sails. Riots are like wildfires, if you can take away the ignition source, i.e. the instigators, they die out.

Think M-16 think M-60, think mass Graves and think if you were a Christian that Muslim would not stop you dead long before 11 days?

between 690 AD AND 1500 AD 20,000,000 Christian were killed by Muslims. Think right from wrong understand what is happening and what will happen to you.

Just heard the ABC evening propaganda feed (aka the hourly news), reporting that the rioting tonight is the worst in 10 days and describing the rioters as “young people.”

NEVER did they say Arabs, Muslims, or anything actually descriptive.

    Just “young people”.

Fred, the Crusades weren’t exactly one sided savagery. Nor were the Muslims the only ones killing Christians. In fact some Crusades were not against Muslims, but against other Christians. One Crusade was against a Christian sect called the Cathars, and another was against the Eastern Orthodox capital at Constantinople. There is a great book on the topic called “Chronicles of the Crusades” It’s a collection of first hand accounts of the Crusades and includes maps, photos, and diagrams of what is discussed in the text. Wonderful book. For your information, the Christians were the aggressors in the Crusades. The problem is that they were so brutal to not only Muslims, but also Jews and other Christians, that the Muslims have lost any respect for them DESPITE the Koran calling for respect for all people who believe in “the ONE TRUE GOD”.

Jews and Christians are to be considered “People of the Book”, not infidels. That is the difference between radical Muslims and true followers of the religion of Islam. Islamic radicals pick and choose which parts of the Koran to follow instead of the whole thing. Saladin followed the Koran and treated even his enemies with respect and gentility. When the Crusaders took the city of Jerusalem, they slaughtered the occupants including Jews and Orthodox Christians. When Saladin retook it, he allowed anyone who wished to stay do so as long as they paid a tax. He slaughtered noone who acted peaceably. That is the difference between a true follower of Islam and the radical Islamic terrorists. Is it not a shame that this type of gentility and respect for the religion of Islam is not what’s being taught in the madrassas and mosques?

As for me? If they want to call me an infidel, I’ll show them what an infidel can do. Hell, I’ll dig up the rites and use a few for human sacrifice. I do love recreating medieval history. You can learn so much from recreating the skills of our ancestors.
