Ha, don’t you guys call President Clinton an idiot and worse all the time. Now he is your defense???

How can he be wrong and the worst thing to ever happen to this country and yet come to President Bush’s defense? I meekly ask for clarification.

I think you missed the point Zelda. (not trying to be rude). The left is demanding answers on why they were LIED to about the war in Iraq. The right is claiming that there is no lie. The right has pointed out that when the left claimed how bad he was(as in 98-03), it wasn’t a lie, but now that they have no plans, no direction, and basically nothing to talk about, they scream LIE. Well was everything a lie from 98-03?

Peejz; Oh no; I get the point and I agree (you were not rude at all (in this post)). The whole freak’en world thought that Saddam had Biological or Chemical Weapons in Feb 2003.

I am pointing out an entirely different point. How can you call all Democrats completely wrong about everything in every way in every situation and yet reference President Clinton when it serves your purpose. It is hypocritical and it makes no sense. (I’m not really aiming that at you peejz)

Well all the Democrats are not wrong about everything. You must know my list by now! I defended Clinton in 98′. I wanted Saddam gone when Bush 41 had the chance! I can’t excuse the bombing of the factory as that was a blunder on Bubba/DOD/CIA! I can see why you would say that though. My point is that the left should not go out there and accuse the POTUS of making up intelligence that was approved of and seen in private by the very people accusing him of lying. (Carl Levin comes to mind) They marched right out of the meeting and told the world that they couldn’t say what it was they saw, but be assured, the threat is there. So was there a lie or should we choose another word. Should we open the circle of those that lied? Or should we take another approach?
I watched Bill Clinton on Letterman just before the invasion. I know I have brought it up before, but he knew without a doubt that Saddam had the weapons and his biggest fear was that our military would be subjected to them. I believed him then and I believe him now. I don’t think he lied! (now keep in mind, I want to go poke around in Syria to look for those weapons)

Actually from the reports that I have heard and read, either actual or components of Nuclear, biological and chemical weapons have been found in Iraq. They simply have either not been or have been severely under reported. At least two soldiers were hospitalized with Sarin poisoning (That’s a type of lethal nerve agent for those without classified or for that matter any Chemical warfare training.) when the roadside bomb they were attempting to defuse turned out to be made from a chemical artillery shell. How many people did that cult in Japan kill with Sarin in the Tokyo subway system? I recently heard that we also recovered barrels full of the stuff. As well as barrels of another type of unnamed nerve agent that was described as being more lethal than Sarin. My guess on that one would be VX.

We’ve also recovered over 500 TONS of yellow cake uranium as well as 10 TONS of weapons grade enriched uranium which we had to remove from Iraq do to the danger of its storage facility coming under attack and the uranium falling into the wrong hands. The head of Saddam’s Nuclear weapon program even turned over the pieces and instructions to manufacture a uranium enrichment centrofuge. All told, Saddam had a better possibility of producing an atomic (not nuclear) bomb than the US did in 1941. What’s the difference between an atomic and a nuclear bomb? An atomic bomb uses fission, a nuclear one uses fusion. An atomic bomb while not as powerful as a nuclear one causes much more radioactive fallout. While not as powerful as a nuclear bomb, atomic bombs were used to level Nagasaki and Hiroshima. A Nuclear bomb has never been used on an enemy target, but the blast is roughly 1000+ times that of an atomic bomb. Basically imagine dropping a bomb in Pittsburgh and the shock waves being felt in Cincinnatti and Philadelphia. We currently have artillery shells that produce the same blast yield as the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
Additionally it would take nothing for the terrorists to make a dirty bomb from the enriched uranium and detonate it in a major city.A 500 lbs of enriched uranium and a regular bomb the size of the Oklahoma city bomb would fit into the back of a Uhaul and if detonated in Manhatten could make most of the island uninhabitable for 20,000+ years. Not to mention the millions of people who would develop radiation sickness and possibly die. Is there anyone out there who wants to even risk that?

Frmr…is there anyone out there who would risk it?

Why yes, John Kohn, Howierd Dean, Shitloh, Tofu, Teddy the killer, Dick Turban, Sean Penn, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

They would bury their heads in the sand until a nuke is detonated in Times Square……

    ……then blame Bush.
