403 – 3

The Resolution Has Failed

The resolution failed 403-3, with six voting present.

So who voted for it?

Democrat – Cynthia A. McKinney of Georgia
Democrat – Robert Wexler of Florida
Democrat – Jose E. Serrano of New York.

So many of the dems have spoken out against our troops being in Iraq – - and yet they didn’t have the personal conviction to back each other up. Wonder how Mckinney, Wexler and Serrano feel ’bout that.

Actually I heard that the Distinguished Witch from California Nancy Pelosi requested that all Democrats vote against it in order to avoid them showing their true colors. My guess would be that those colors are varying shades of yellow.

[...] In case you have forgotten, here is this link regarding the 403-3 vote for an immediate pullout of Iraq, and this link from yesterday regarding Pelosi’s comments about an immediate pullout (2 weeks after she voted against it). Now we have Murtha making another call for an immediate pullout in this AP article titled; “Murtha Says Army Is ‘Broken, Worn Out’ ” Most U.S. troops will leave Iraq within a year because the Army is “broken, worn out” and “living hand to mouth,” Rep. John Murtha told a civic group. [...]
