Amnesty Makes Demands

Amnesty demands US detention camp investigation

Human rights organisation Amnesty International has demanded that the European Union investigate whether the United States has run illegal prison camps in Poland.

Referring to reports of camps in Poland, Irene Khan, Amnesty’s secretary-general, said: “We should not be sitting here trying to speculate whether it is Poland and whether the Polish Government will do something about it.

“I think the European Union should investigate it.”

She also called for the United States to open up the Guantanamo Bay detention camp on Cuba to the United Nations.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

How about the United States demanding an investigation of Amnesty International – - or perhaps that should be Amnesia International as they seem to have a very short memory when it comes to dictatorships and the United Nations. As for them making demands – - I don’t think so.

Really? You guys support secret prisons in eastern Europe, Gitmo, Abu Grahab, or where ever? Do you guys support torture like Dick Cheney does?

And you guys let the Military put a 19 year old girl to prison for abusing prisoners as your Republican leaders promote it.

Do you realize what danger this puts U.S. soldiers in? Aren’t you guys ashamed?

To paraphrase peejz, what part of illegal are you missing?

Do you guys really support an illegal secret CIA prison in Poland where suspected terrorists are tortured?

I have no problem with “secret” prisons…I have no problem with pointing to the ball bags of captured muslim animals.

Unlike DG, and a lot of other spineless cowards, I am for whatever is necessary to kill those who would bomb, behead, maim, etc. innocent women and children.
