Yesterday, I brought you New Orleans Will Be ‘Chocolate’ Again and today I am following it up with Hillary Clintons speech yesterday in Harlem. Michelle Malkin Linked this story by The New York Times
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, speaking yesterday at a ceremony honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., compared the Republican-controlled House of Representatives to a plantation where dissent is not tolerated.
Her comments, made before a predominantly black audience at the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ in Harlem, drew a harsh response from national Republicans, but black leaders came to her defense. At the ceremony, Mrs. Clinton, the junior Democratic senator from New York, said that Democrats were largely responsible for much of the nation’s progress in areas like civil rights and women’s rights.
But she suggested that things had changed in recent years with the Republicans in control of the White House and Congress, according to a transcript of her remarks.
Mrs. Clinton added that the House has been “run like a plantation” under Republicans. “And you know what I am talking about,” she said. “It has been run in a way so that nobody with a contrary point of view has had a chance to present legislation, to make an argument.”
Tracey Schmitt, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, accused Mrs. Clinton of using divisive and racially tinged language to score partisan points. “On a day when Americans are focused on honoring Martin Luther King, it is disappointing that Senator Clinton is focused on advancing her own agenda,” she said.
But Mrs. Clinton’s aides defended the comments, as did black Democratic leaders.
“As she said, under Republican rule the House leadership has stifled real and substantive debate, preventing Democrats from offering amendments and engaging in real discussion,” said Philippe Reines, Mrs. Clinton’s spokesman.
And Al Sharpton is right there beside her
And fron The New York Sun
As for Sharpton, he jokingly suggested that Clinton, who many believe is eying a run for President in 2008, had stolen his material.
“Any time you have a situation where, because of seniority and cloakroom politics, the bosses make the decision - that’s tantamount to plantation,” Sharpton told reporters.
“I absolutely defend her saying it because I said it all through the ‘04 elections,” added Sharpton, referring to his failed presidential run that year.

It is most unfortunate there is no public forum where Hillary and her arrogant ilk are made to face the reaction to their remarks from the voters. I’m sure Hillary would be looking for a rock to crawl under if she had to face other than supporters.
I wonder if any of the dopes that rallied to Madame HilLiary’s defense are aware that:
1. The DemokRat party is the party of the Slaveholders (the Republican Party is the party of Lincoln who freed the slaves).
2. The DemokRats opposed Civil Rights in the late 50s and early 60s, and the Republicans promoted Civil Rights.
3. The DemokRats run their party, and would probably like to run America, like a plantation. Just let a black person go off the plantation (Clarence Thomas, Condoleeza Rice, etc.) and you see what pennalties they suffer. Meanwhile, the Republicans administration of George Bush has provided unprecedented, historic progress at the highest levels for black people.
Another case of diarrhea of the mouth for Sen. HilLiary Rotten Klintscum. And another slavish demonstration of fealty by the loyal blacks who are still on the Democrite plantation.
:wink:Robert is right, but both parties would love to see us all inside the slave world of the third world.
I would love to know if Hillary had anything to do with the so called suicide of COL.Westhusing? he was doing a great job for you guys! he was investigating contracts and many violations.
his death came inside a Baghdad trailer and the mainstream media called it a suicide but some people see it as murder of this great American solider:sad:.
“We all know about what bill and hillary have done to others”, don’t we:?:
Robert, don’t forget what the Democrats did to Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele. They stole his identity, his personal financial records, and hurled epitaths at him they don’t allow to even be discussed by non-Blacks.
Yes, that is the most recent case of Democrite-sponsored virtual lynching of a black man that dared to venture off their plantation.
And Sen. HilLiary has the nerve, the chutzpah, to talk about Republicans and the plantation? Every time I think the Democrites have redefined hypocrisy to a new extreme, they take it even further.
Again, I say…
If there ever was a “plantation” it’s been created by the racist dumbocrats over the past 60 years..keeping their slaves fat and happy with welfare (with which to purchase those ho-hos, ring dings and strawberry soda, sure to give them diabetes and heart disease, thereby lowering the life expectancy of the entire black population), keeping their children too stoopid to figure out the sham by shackling them in those babysitting gulags they call “public schools” and making republicans into the boogeyman so they march (are driven, drugged, coerced, etc.) to the polls, each november, like modern day slaves, to pull their massa’s lever.
If blacks EVER woke up to this ridiculous bamboozling….Dumbocrats would never win another election (they may not anyway).
Anybody remember Christopher Dodd’s comment praising Robert Byrd?

“It has often been said that the man and the moment come together. I do not think it is an exaggeration at all to say to my friend from West Virginia that he would have been a great Senator at any moment. Some were right for the time. ROBERT C. BYRD, in my view, would have been right at any time. He would have been right at the founding of this country. He would have been in the leadership crafting this Constitution. He would have been right during the great conflict of civil war in this Nation. He would have been right at the great moments of international threat we faced in the 20th century. I cannot think of a single moment in this Nation’s 220-plus year history where he would not have been a valuable asset to this country. Certainly today that is not any less true.”
Thanks for the suggestion.
Spoken just like she always did just like her nonsnse about the vast right-wing consperacy against her husband a big time traitor still blabbering still the witch and her flying monkeys are loose wheres by phaser rifle?
