The NYDaily News reports on Alec Baldwin’s mini-meltdown and Meryl Streep’s depression over Supreme Court Justice Sam Alito:
Alec Baldwin is appalled that Sen. Ted Kennedy and other liberals could muster only 25 of the 41 votes needed for a filibuster to block Samuel Alito’s Supreme Court confirmation.The problem, he told us at Tuesday’s meeting of the Oxonian Society, is the number of “chicken-bleep Democrats in the Senate. We have a bunch of budding Zell Millers down there,” referring to the crusty Georgia senator who backed the Republican agenda in 2004. Although that was almost two years ago, Baldwin says, “I loathe and despise him on a daily basis.”
Meanwhile, Meryl Streep needs a dose of Prozac. “I’m so demoralized,” she told us at the Broadway opening of Sarah Jones’ brilliant “Bridge and Tunnel.”

Overseas, Jim Geraghty reports that American actors Billy Zane and Gary Busey are part of the cast for a new Bush-deranged, US troop-bashing film debuting in Turkey. A description of the plot:

Valley of the Wolves Iraq, set to open in Turkey on Friday, feeds off the increasingly negative feelings many Turks harbor toward their longtime NATO allies: Americans.
The movie, which reportedly cost some $10 million, is the latest in a new genre of popular culture that demonizes the United States. It comes on the heels of a novel called Metal Storm about a war between Turkey and the U.S., which has been a best seller for months.
That movie will do wonders for changing the tone of anti-semetics of the Middle East!

I thought Gary Busey was better than that—that motorcycle accident must have spilled out most of his brain and turned him into a Liberal.
F these f’ing Hollywood Idiot Traitors. I purposely never go see movies with traitors in them and never will. I just wish more Americans would do the same.
How about a movie where we take the traitors giving aid and comfort to the enemy and undermining the U.S. and pump them full of lead? Now THAT I’d go see.

I now have Busey and Zane on my personal boycott list. The doctors were wrong when Busey had a motorcycle crash without a helmet on. The doctors said Busey had no brain damage. Either that or Busey has no brain.

The fact is patriotism means nothing if you don’t have a government that is part of the people and when you have 20 or 30 percent of :roll:the people who love other ideals like Mexico or the Chinese’s ideals( read Red ) you have a non nation.
the political and money system will collapse soon. the fact is if people cannot live with a real idea of freedom that people will not live long as a culture or as a people. in other words say hi to the third world and its endless evils.

The real problem is that these morons have been getting their own way for so long that they can’t seem to understand that they lost the election. It’s a damn shame that they don’t require some of them to take the citizenship test that they give immigrant before they become citizens. Maybe then they’d understand that the use of a filibuster on judicial nominees or any nominees for that matter is unconstitutional. The Senate’s sole responsibility is to determine if the nominee is qualified for the position not how he’ll rule on a case. To ask him is unconstitutional and for him to answer would’ve been in violation of the judicial code of conduct and ethics. Perhaps there is the problem. The liberals don’t understand what a code of conduct or ethics is because they have neither a code of conduct nor ethics.

I doubt the Canadians would want Alec Baldwin. They’d ship him here to Michigan with their garbage, which we don’t want.
They do this stuff and lose more and more ground. One would think they’d be smart enough to make the connection.

Ha ha ha ha ha! Oooohooohooohooo! I just have to laugh at the reaction of the anti American crowd around the world who think this stupid movie represents even a modicum of reality. Busey and Zane must have been so desperate for a part you know? Don’t forget my fellow Americans, these misguided and ill-informed radical muslims can froth at the mouth, burn our flag, scream “Death to America” untill they are blue in the face and they lose their voice. It doesn’t affect my life, or yours. We still live in the most free society and the best country in the history of the world. I love to remind the radical muslims that I still own two houses, two cars, twenty acres of land. My kids go to the best school and will attend college, I make over $100,000 a year, I can eat untill I pop if I choose to, I sleep in a $5,000 king size sleep number bed, I have four televisions in my house, one of them with a movie theater sound system. My retirement portfolio will make me rich by the time I’m 55 years old, I can get the best medical care in the world just down the street from where I live. Yes, America is such a bad place! That must be why so many of their countrymen want to come here to live huh? I just laugh and laugh; all the way to the bank!
