Thanks for the encouragement, BonBon and Peejz.

How often do we hear that some people, some professions, should be held to a higher standard? That certainly applies to politicians and influential people whose irresponsible or outrageous statements, though free speech and their right, have serious consequences.

All right, I'll step off the soapbox now...

Robert, I feel very much like you do. I strongly believe that todays politicians nor anyone in the msm ever stop and think about what they are saying and how damaging it could be to America.

Keep shoveling it....I'll be there to help.

Well, I am passionate when it comes to discussing famous traitors in the Hall of Shame. We have free speech and the right to free expression, and I would never infringe on the right of people to do so.

But the fanmous traitors, like Chapatraitor Ted, Turban Durbin, Walter Commiekite, Algore, etc. are people in places of responsibility. Their words have consequences far beyond the opinion of an ordinary American. They can say what they please, but there should be consequences for them when they cross the line. Unfortunately the only thing we can do is heap well-deserved scorn upon them, and I do by the shovelful.

#9 Peejz, yes, exactly. Walter Commiekite, who took off his glasses on the evening news and even as the Vietcong were getting their asses handed to them during their Tet offensive, looked America right in the eye and handed the VC the biggest politcal propaganda victory of the war by turning America against the war.

How's that for a long sentence?

But it's true. Walter Commiekite gave the Communists what they so desperately coveted, a political advantage in America. After Tet the VC infrastructure in the South was utterly destroyed, and the NVA were nowhere near their goal. It was a turning point, when if the North could not be defaeted outright, at least a satisafctory settlement could perhaps have been negotiated and seven more years of war avoided.

But oh no, old Leftist windbag Walter, whom people mistakenly trusted in those days, gave his expert military strategic assessment and pronoiunded that the war was unwinnable.

That energized the Leftist street, turned off many mainstream Americans, and was wind in the sails of the Communists.

Thank you, Walter, you degenerate old scumbag. Your contribution helped make sure there would be seven more years of war, tens of thousands more dead and wounded Americans, and untold numbers of civilians killed and lives destroyed. May you rot in hell, Walter.

#14, that's right, in order to avoid getting busted for DUI (which wasn't even a big deal back then) ChapaTed traded Mary Jo's life.

That's why every day this criminal sits on the Senate "Ethics" committeee is a travesty and mocks the very concept of ethics and justice.
