[...] This is a follow up to this post. John Fund, of The Wall Street Journal has a very interesting followup. Yale will not comment openly about the admission of Taliban official Sayeed Rahmatullah Hashemi to a special student program at Yale, citing citing student privacy issues. But unofficially, some Yale administrators are privately trashing critics. One even anonymously sent scathing emails to two critics calling them “retarded” and “disgusting.” That official–Alexis Surovov, assistant director of giving at Yale Law School–did talk to John Fund, of WSJ. Last Wednesday, Mr. Surovov sent an angry email from a Columbia University account to Clinton Taylor and Debbie Bookstaber, the 2 Yale alumi, leading the “Give Yale The Finger” protest!
Screw going after Yale. Nail the State Dept POS who approved the VISA. Revoke the Visa and put his ass on the next military C-130 back to Kabul. Preferably with a Special Forces A-team or two going in to pull a tour chasing Taliban through the mountains into Pakistan. I'm sure they'd love the company. He would have such an enjoyable flight with his backside parked in the cargo net seats alongside an armed to the teeth Special Forces operator preparing to chase down and shoot his Taliban Compadres. The SF guys can be scary when they aren't trying and if they knew who this guy was in advance, they'd be trying.

As for the State Dept Puke, I think a posting to outer Mongolia, Tanganyika, or any country with an Islamic terrorist problem for the remainder of his career is in order. I wouldn't say that we should hang him out to dry but putting him in a place where he could see the actions of the kind of people he's letting into this country might open his liberal eyes to the real world.
