Being a Bostonian (and much as I admire Senator Kennedy’s politics), I can tell you that the Irish as a political force in the Commonwealth are largely (historically) a corrupt bunch. Remember the “Boston Irish Take” on gay folks marching in the St. Patrick’s Day parade was hardly tolerant. For that matter remember that the late James Michael Curley was elected Mayor of Boston for his second term FROM PRISON.

Guys? Senator Clinton, for all the things I don’t like about her, is a very bright woman who’s entirely self-made. That alone should give her some credence in your forum. She’s mostly Anglo Saxon by heritage but there’s at least of quarter of her heritage that’s American Indian.
