The Washington D.C. War Protest

By: Pam On: Mar/20/06 - 3 Comments

Michelle Malkin was in Washington D.C. today for the war protest. She was able to interview Cindy Sheehan and I will update this as soon as the link is available. Michelle was able to give us an idea of the mentality of the marchers. Here is what she encountered:

My favorite encounter was with a man (one of several) who dressed up in an orange Gitmo jumpsuit. He and his play friends marched a few miles with their hands behind their backs and heads covered with hoods. I talked to him while he devoured a fat sandwich after his grueling journey, which he said helped him feel pain and solidarity with the Gitmo detainees. “I really can identify,” he said between bites.

Please take the time to follow the link to her sight. She has pictures up. See which one caught my eye! I really thought I had seen everything!

Protests are hardly needed anymore as the majority of the country wants the U!S!A! out of the war. Soon, we hope, the majority of the country will also join us in our condemnation of the troops there now in Iraq – raping babies and killing women. Fuck the troops! Don’t ever bring them home, let them fend for themselves in Iraq!
