A Job That American’s Won’t Do
Randal McCloy Jr., the sole survivor of the Sago Mine disaster, will be returning home on Thursday. Mr. McCloy still has a long journey on the road to recovery but it appears that he has the strength and determination to get there.

Thanks for your extensive coverage of the administration’s amnesty plan for illegals. Whenever I hear our president claim that illegal aliens are needed to do the “jobs Americans won’t do,” I can only think of three words:
West Virginia miners.
Bush’s comments are a slap in the face to those hardworking Americans!

The only jobs Americans won’t do are one’s they aren’t being paid for. My dad was a coal miner in Ohio. The one job I’ve seen Mexicans do that I know Amricans would’ve wanted a lot more money to do was picking mushrooms. They basically grow mushrooms in straight manure and you almost have to pick them by hand. Not a very pleasant job, but if the pay were good enough, Americans would do it.
