Michelle Malkin has a wondeful piece on Bilal Hussein, an AP stringer. It is a story that Michelle, and others, have been working on for over a year. It appears that the photographer may be an enemy insurgent in Iraq..slowly she is getting the answers to her question..I did say slowly didn’t I?
A year ago, I blogged about a controversial, Pulitzer Prize-winning photo taken by an unidentified Associated Press stringer in Iraq. More background from the blogosphere here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here. Do take the time to re-read them all. The context is important.
One member of the Pulitzer-winning AP team was AP stringer Bilal Hussein. Hussein’s photos have raised serious, persistent questions about his relationship with terrorists in Iraq and whether his photos were/are staged in collusion with the enemy. I’ve learned of an intriguing news development that strengthens those lingering suspicions.
This afternoon, in response to a tip from an anonymous military source in Iraq, I contacted both the AP reporter embedded with the Marines in Ramadi, Todd Pitman, as well as AP’s media relations office headquartered in New York concerning Hussein’s whereabouts. No word from Pitman. But at 6:20pm EDT, I received the following e-mail response from AP:
We are looking into reports that Mr. Hussein was detained by the U.S. military in Iraq but have no further details at this time.

Corporate CommunicationsAccording to my tipster, Hussein was captured earlier today by American forces in a building in Ramadi, Iraq, with a cache of weapons.
I am still awaiting a response from the DOD’s Combined Press Information Center and a Public Affairs Officer in Ramadi.

Which party has consistently argued against voter registration and requiring ID to cast a ballot? Their claim that it would disenfranchise the poor is ludicrous because everyone has some form of ID. It does however put a serious damper on election officials padding voter rolls and then putting in falsified votes. Sort of like the female election official that had something like 500 homeless people listed as having the elections office as their home address. Care to hazard a guess as to her party affiliation?
Which party had a presidential candidate get the minority of the popular vote, but win the electoral college vote on the basis of VERY questionable ballots in 5 mafia controlled precincts in Chicago?
On an international note:
Which party gutted our foreign intelligence gathering capacity by following the recommendations of the Church commission and ending all of our intelligence gathering relationships with people who weren’t squeaky clean altar boys? While Signal intelligence may be good, human intelligence is best.
Which party blocked our intelligence services from passing information on foreign nationals in this country to the FBI?
Which party caused our military to lose large numbers of experienced personnel by cutting reenlistment bonuses to virtually nothing? This included eliminating bonuses of up to $20,000 for linguists with over 10 years experience in translating Farsi, Arabic and a number of other difficult languages. Those bonuses were how our highly underpaid service members could afford down payments on houses or the new car every 5 years they wouldn’t be able to get otherwise.
Which party refused to allow prior service people to enlist as a cost cutting measure preferring to spend $10,000s of dollars more (my training was probably in the area of $250,000) training green recruits than pay the prior service member $300 - 500 more per month?
Which party had senior members leak classified information on various military and intelligence programs to the press? Don’t say President Bush, because as Commander in Chief he has the authority to declassify anything. Anything that the President releases or authorizes for release to the press is by his consent automatically declassified.
When you have the answers to those questions, get back to me.
Liberals are excellent salesmen. They pull on people’s heart strings even though their plans are abject failures, they sure sound good on sound bites. As someone who has proven fairly decent at sales, I can tell you that people do not buy with their heads, they buy with their hearts. Nowadays the internet has lead to more informed consumers, as a result you don’t see salesmen making nearly as much money as they once did. Educated consumers tend to think through their purchases more thoroughly and make buying decisions based on fact not feeling. Once people start voting that way, we’ll see who they vote for. Ever wonder why the Democrats are so anxious to have every drug crazed, insane, or alcoholic bum cast a ballot? They then do their best to restrict military members from being able to cast ballots or disallow those cast by military members overseas? Clinton blocked over 3,000 military votes from being counted in Florida in the 2000 election.
Want to see how staunch in their beliefs a liberal really is? Try to put a windfarm within sight of Ted Kennedy’s family compound on Hyannisport, or unionize Nancy Pelosi’s vineyard. Want to see the liberals scream bloody murder? Rescind the right to work state status in California and a number of other agricultural states. When Teddy et al put their multimillion dollar complexes up for sale with the proceeds going to support liberal causes, I might consider believing a word that they say. BTW San Fran do you know where Teddy’s family got all of their money? Bootlegging during prohibition.
Why does anyone vote liberal? Because they simply don’t know any better.

Gee San Fran, until the Democrats and the riders of the KKK suppressed the Black Vote after reconstruction, the Republicans had the vast majority of the Black vote. There’s your answer. When did the Republicans get more than 11% of the black vote? From the passing of the 15th Amendment giving them the right to vote until the passing of the Jim Crow laws which kept them from doing so.

Why is it that the better educated a black person becomes, the greater the odds of them voting Republican?
