Tony Snow Will Be The New WH Press Secretary

Fox News is reporting that Tony Snow will be the WH Press Secretary! Congrats to him! I think he will do a fantastic job, as he is a member of the press and he has an agreeable personality..unlike say Scott!
“He would like to do it. If he gets an OK from his doctor, I expect it will be Tony Snow and the press will welcome him with open arms,” Time magazine columnist Margaret Carlson said during the day.
“He has a great common sense, a great understanding of the issue. He is able to do it with good humor. We see him handle cancer with good humor, I think he can handle (NBC’s) David Gregory with that same great humor, but also be somebody who would really communicate to the American people in a good common sense way,” said Barbara Comstock, a former director of research and planning at the Republican National Committee. Gregory is known to aggressively challenge current White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan during daily press briefings.

Seriously, anyone but Scott McClellan. It’s a really tough job.. and no offense to Scott… but the briefings are just too painful to watch with him at the podium. I miss Ari!
Tony Snow is a great choice, though – he’ll do a good job.
Secretly? I was hoping for Ari’s return, though

Re: No. 1:
Will you outline for us what makes Tony Snow a joke?

5-Exactly TP. Had Ann Coulter or Al Franken been the choice, it would be a joke. The only think I can think of is the fact that he worked for Fox News…BFD! Gerald Ford also picked a member of the actual press (NBC) for his P.S., and I think it should be the norm. Get someone who actually is a news person for the job!
