Related: Drudge headlined a story out of Sacramento last night noting that the California Senate gave two-thumbs up to the scheduled May 1 “strike” by illegal aliens and their advocates pushing for amnesty.
Via Jason Smith, California Democrats plan to walk out of the Assembly to show solidarity with the illegal alien strike…and they want taxpayers to cover them.

Ok, so they’ll stop working.
What I want to know is: will the welfare offices be empty? Will they avoid County hospital emergency rooms that day? Will they refrain from committing any crimes that day?
After all, if they are going to show us what it is like if they weren’t here, it’s only fair that all aspects be shown!

These people are just flexing their political muscles…
Hispanics, legal or not, are going to be the biggest group of Americans in the next 15 to 20 years.
We’d all better get used to it, and touch up on our Spanish!

Hey, , not all the Hispanics are the stereotype you picture them as. There are many Hinspanic Americans who were citizens for generations AND DON’T SPEAK SPANISH AT ALL!

I don’t know where you live in the US (san jose?), but the flood of Hispanics – legal or not – is too big for you or any little fear-filled group to stop.
We’re talking tens of millions of people.
I’m not sure if you understand the depth of the demographic situation…White WILL be the minority in 15 to 20 years.
Just look at the birth statistics…

Uhhhh, apparently they do since politicains on both sides are falling overthemselves to create policy that deals with them effectively.
And you must keep in mind, the majority of those marching ARE NOT ILLEGAL. THEY are the ones with the newly discovered political muscles…they are the ones who will be the majority race in this country in a few decades…

White will not be the minority, but it is a good talking point I saw on Maher as well SF!
It is odd that you haven’t picked up on the fact that just this week, polls were indicating that the Dems, not the Reps are gaining based on their tough stance against illigal immigration. You have to look beyond the far fringe to see that the moderate dems,or the majority in the base, are calling for the same things we are…a stop to illegal immigration. Those polled feel that the moderate left will put a stop to it faster than the right as the POTUS is for amnesty!

I don’t have cable, so I don’t watch Maher.
But, I’m interested too see why you think Whites will NOT be the minority in the coming decades? Do you have any supporting evidence for your theory?
I could pull up the demographics if you want…
Simply put, whites are not having as many babies as Hispanics here in the US.
Hispanic population in the States has increased 50% since 1990. 50%!!
Texas will be minority white by 2020…(!)
