President Bush was down on the border with Janet N today. I was not pleased with what he had to say. it seemsa that they still haven’t figured out that soldiers on the border aren’t soldiers unless they have guns, and are nothing but school crossing guards if they can’t take illegal border crossers into custody. Yes, I can see how having the National Guard build roads, fences, and perform surveillance duties will certainly help the border patrol, but if they aren’t actually going to be used to guard the nation, why are they called National Guard?

Of course, Mexico is threatening lawsuits if the guardsmen actually detain any illegal entering the US. Time for the Dept of State to tell Vicente that he may have won the election in Mexico, but not the one in the US. The Mexican government is also hosting a convention on a response by central American countries on a response to the US government building a wall to secure our borders. I think the correct response is to follow the Jean Kirkpatrick model. When the 3rd world toadies lined up to sign off on one of Cuba’s infinite number of Anti US proclamations in the UN, she got pissed. She had her assistant get a list of the countries signing off on it and how much aid they received. A few phone calls later and every cosponsor withdrew their support and wouldn’t even vote for ANYTHING that condemned the US. Too bad we don’t have enough Senators with balls that big. Kyl has them. If they Congress really wanted to impact the illegal alien issue, they’d also pass legislation preventing any foreign nation from filing suit in US courts over actions taken by the US to secure its borders. That’s one of those funny little parts of the Constitution that is used so rarely, The Congress has the ability to dictate what the federal courts have jurisdiction over.No jurisdiction, no lawsuit.

I think they should build a fence around Chapatraitor Kennedy. They do have such things, actually, called prisons. That’s where he belongs imo.

McCain? The NVA must have done something to his brain. He acts like a Manchurian candidate at times.
