Gee Peejz, can you guess that I’m not the biggest fan of the Diplomatic Service? Teddy Roosevelt said that we should speak softly and carry a BIG stick. As long as this country did that, we didn’t have problems with these petty little dictators wanting to rule the world or end it. How many times does the Liberal left have to be shown that Neville Chamberlain’s appeasement policies were a contributing factor in WWII? If Chamberlain had put his foot down and the French and British had gone after Germany years earlier, when they had the chance, the Germans would’ve never been able to build up the Wermacht, SS or the Luftwaffe sufficiently to stop them. Instead they appeased Hitler long enough for him to be able to actually build up the largest, most powerful army on the planet and then use it to roll across Europe and exterminate millions.

Appeasement is seen for what it is, a sign of weakness. Maybe not weakness as in lack of power, but weakness as in lack of will to even use the power if one has it. That weakness is the reason WHY we’re currently having to fight in Iraq, Afghanistan, and potentially may have to fight in Iran. We simply have had leaders who have not had the intestinal fortitude (for those who want a more bilingual post, cajones or huevos) to put their foot down while the threat was small to keep it from becoming a big one.

Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden have both stated that the Americans haven’t the will to fight a protracted war. Unless we slap some of our politicians in the back of the head and straighten them up a bit, they may be right. Saddam Hussein learned his history based on what he had seen in the last 15 years wherein American political leaders lacked the will to take the fight to an enemy and then finish it. He and Osama Bin Laden both seriously underestimated the American people’s reaction to 9/11.

Unfortunately we have too many politicians like Murtha, Rockefeller, Kennedy, Hillary, et al who put their political aspirattions ahead of the welfare of this country. The “statesmen” who think that what’s best for the US must be horrid for the world, are dead wrong. What other country in history has EVER paid for the modernization of other countries (including rebuilding factories we had bombed in a war)as much as the US? Which country’s citizens have voluntarily dug deeper into their pockets to feed, clothe and house the world than the US? What other country has paid for the liberty of the world’s peoples with the blood of its best and brightest more than the US? Which country feeds more of the world’s hungry than the US? It’s a damn shame that due to a lack of competence on the part of various elected officials, it becomes necessary for us to do it again and again.

The next time the revolutionary council and the mullahs get together, they need to have a nuclear accident. Damn that wrath of Allah thing just smiting those who have perverted his religion. Of course the combination Mossad/Delta team slipping out the back door two hours before the “Accident” couldn’t have possibly had anything to do with it could they? Nothing convinces a country that they don’t want nukes like seeing what happens when one goes off up close and personal.

Mohammed was no saint. He was a pedophile, plain and simple. From their own scriptures he married a 6 year old girl and consummated the marriage when she was nine. She remained his wife until his death nine years later.
