Truthout And Karl Rove! No Truth!
The Washington Post has a scathing rebuke of this story written by TruthOut, which I wrote about here. Now before I get into the WaPo story, I should be clear that Truth Out did write …well I guess it was a retraction:
The time has now come, however, to issue a partial apology to our readership for this story. While we paid very careful attention to the sourcing on this story, we erred in getting too far out in front of the news-cycle. In moving as quickly as we did, we caused more confusion than clarity. And that was a disservice to our readership and we regret it.
And What does the WaPo say about this?
The claim that President Bush’s top political strategist had been indicted in the CIA leak investigation was written by a journalist who has battled drug addiction and mental illness and been convicted of grand larceny. That didn’t stop more than 35 reporters ” from all the major newspapers, networks and newsmagazines ” from calling Luskin or Rove’s spokesman, Mark Corallo, to check it out…
The All Spin Zone is more upset with Kurtz for attacking TruthOut and not doing enough to rebuke the Swifboat attacks on John Kerry! They goes as far as to drag Brit Hume into the fray by calling him a hack! Rather laughable considering that he is not the one getting too far out in front of the news-cycle! And I do love how he claimed that TruthOut was sucker punched! No, they weren’t sucker puched, they were just irresponsible and got themselves into it with their own stupidity!

Sucker punched? I agree that, like Dan Blather, they were just far too eager to run with something that was little more than a fantasy in some twisted Leftist’s BHDS mind, without any sanity checks (of course they are mentally-ill Liberals anyway, so perhaps that would never have happened anyway).
These BHDS Leftists are spinning and twisting in the wind, putting on quite a display for sane Americans to watch and laugh at. They think the Democrites are poised to take over Congress and the White House again, and they may be right, but it won’t be for the reasons they think.

Looks like the Libs can’t stand to be scrutinized by the truth. This all spin character even lies about the Swifties.
This is why Lefties carry no weight with me. They aren’t truthful about anything and can’t accept the truth when it shoved in their faces.
