HOT WATER AWAITS 11 CONGRESSMAN
Cindy Adams is my favorite gossip, so without further ado, I present her pediction(based on inside knowledge?):
HOLIDAY’S over. I’m back, you’re back, we’re all back, back to important things, like the investigation of Louisiana congressman William Jefferson a k a “Dollar Bill.”
You will remember – you absolutely better remember – that I have repeatedly told you, starting as early as last year, predating even the Jack Abramoff scandal – that a large load of House of Representatives members would be indicted. I said we could put it at a dozen. I said this number could conceivably rise, depending on whom they then implicate, to maybe 20, but that this larger number was only a guess at this juncture. I said it would come under the heading of influence peddling. I now tell you, wait for another 11.
We know that Cunningham and Delay have been indicted. Mollohan and Jefferson are inevitable…so who are the other 8 ?

Honestly I don’t know, I was just being facetious. This is the first I’ve heard of “a dozen” or so pending…
I’m not sure the NY Post is the best place to go for info on this, tho. Gossip rags are at the bottom of the informational scale, in my book…
