Clinton And Gore Still Make Me Laugh

By: Pam On: Jun/2/06 - 12 Comments

You just have to love the hypocricy of this: Bill Clinton blasts ‘crony capitalism’ at $500-per-person fundraiser

And as seen in People Magazine from June 12, 2006 issue, Maureen Harrington interviews Al Gore.

Al Gore: How I’m Saving The Planet

1. Turn off lights in my house [to conserve energy]. We’re getting sensor switches that automatically turn them off when the room is empty.

2. We got a hybrid car recently.

3. We Try to live a carbon natural life. On climatecrisis.org, you’ll find a calculator which can add up the carbon dioxide you produce and give you options for neutralizing that.

4. This movie saves carbon dioxide because I don’t have to fly and drive places to get my message across.

Peejz rebutting Al Gore

1. Did you just figure that out?

2. You just got a hybrid? I’m not sure which is worse..the fact that the man just got one, or that he admitted that he didn’t have one for years..

3. I went to the site and one of the suggestions was this: Fly less
Air travel produces large amounts of emissions so reducing how much you fly by even one or two trips a year can reduce your emissions significantly. You can also offset your air travel by investing in renewable energy projects How has Al been getting all over the world to promote the movie?

4. Davis Guggenheim’s documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” follows Al Gore as he travels the globe to passionately educate the public–and politicians–about the causes and implications of global warming.

Maybe next time Gore is speaking about the evils of Global Warming and environmental destruction he can mention his own Zinc mine on family property in Tennesee. For over a decade, Gore pocketed royalties totalling $500,000 from this mine, including while he was the official environmental savior and ran the EPA while he was VP.

Zinc-contaminated runoff water from this mine polluted a nearby creek, which emptied into the Cumberland River. despite numerous complaints, the EPA never did anything about it. The mine continued to operate, and Gore continued to profit.

H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E! This is one more example of why I call them Democrites, folks.

How has Al been getting all over the world to promote the movie?

The same way Bush gets to Washington DC in the middle of one of his endless and numerous Texas vacations to sign one piece of paper designed to halt a brain-dead woman’s euthanasia…

    …assclown.

I know of at least one study using solid science, not pseudo science simulations, that shows that the current temps are actually LOWER than they were during the middle ages. Google the Duke University tree ring study that shows that growing seasons in Europe (read that as NORTHERN HEMISPHERE) were longer and hence warmer than they currently are. If I remember correctly, at the current rate of temperature increase, we should get back to those temperatures in a century or so. As for the “Global Warming” causing increased severe weather, even the NOAA says we’re just in the high point of a normal 40 year cycle.

I Heard a scientist interviewed on radio the other night. This guy is the leading expert in the U.S., probably the world, on hurricanes. He said it is absolute nonsense that global warming has anything to do whatsoever with hurricane numbers or intensity. Yet the ecowhacko crowd is now claiming this.

:Gore: That’s right. Mother Nature is weighing in to say, “Argument’s over; debate’s over. Global warming is real and we human beings are mainly responsible for it. The results are catastrophic.” We have to fix it. It’s not too late. People are saying, “Tornadoes didn’t used to be this strong” and “Hurricanes didn’t used to be this strong.” We’ve lost an entire city. People are beginning to connect the dots.”

What a complete fraud and moron. Tornadoes and Hurricanes didn’t use to be this strong? 100% WRONG. Anyone who believes this Ecofraud Gore is:

    1. Abysmally ignorant (alright, I’ll be kind: uninformed)
    2. Too stupid to think for themselves
    3. A mentally-ill Leftist
    4. A member of the Eco Religion
    5. All of the above

Al Gore is a guru, a prophet. You should listen to him, he is extremely intelligent. We can thank him for the Internet, which allows us to have this forum. Al Gore played a crucial role in the early work that led to the Internet as we know it today.

So you see he is a genius, and whatever he says about the environment can be assumed to be beyond question.

You’re totally right Lenny. Actually, he wrote the initial grant that funded the internet. And Gore is indeed very intelligent, though not as smart as the Rhodes Scholar that he served with.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why we as conservatives always have to dig up Clinton and company…”but but but Clinton!” Give it a break , why don’t ya.

The nimrod we have in office now is a luddite from the word go

I have heard Gore holds up China as having better emission standards than the United States. This is a joke.

China is an environmental disaster and it is not because of its laws. It is because of the lack of enforcement of the laws. China’s car emission laws may be better than the United States’, but that is basically irrelevant because there are a huge number of cars there whose emissions would probably not meet anyone’s standards.
