Here's the first paragraph of Patton's speech, modified to conform to modern Liberalism, and updated to the Iraqi conflict: "People, this stuff we hear about America wanting to stay in Iraq, wanting to fight, is a lot of neocon nonsense. Americans should not be fighting - that's an outdated, outmoded tradition. Only gun-toting right-wing Americans love the sting and clash of battle. Now our kids admire the kid that shares his toys; the fastest runner in the Special Olympics; the environmentalists; Barbara Boxer. Progressive Americans love multiculturalism and don't mind being losers. Leftist Americans are cowards, and they play to make everyone feel okay - all the time. A good Liberal is a man who lost and laughed. That's why America will never win another war if we can help it, for the very thought of America winning another war of aggression for oil against innocent brown-skinned people is hateful to Liberals."
